Gore bothers me, but I may draw it on rare occasions. Anything involving organs, flayed skin, or hanging eyeballs is way too much for me, though, and if it's red it's more likely to bug me.

I struggle with a lot of anxiety and also have a lot of trouble picking up on social cues, so I apologize if I come off the wrong way or miss anything important. The use of tone tags may be helpful. ^^'

I’m not really a nicknamer (unless you count jokingly calling my friends bitches/dumbasses/losers/etc.), save for substituting the last syllable of a friend’s name with “ie” (e.g. Silvie, Cubie). But when it comes to my pets, especially my cat, I’m the total opposite.

What game has the best art style?

Okay you CANNOT make me decide here. Wh. That is evil. “Best art style” as if that even exists!!

OMORI has a very distinct art style. It does a good job of setting the mood and it’s hard to mistake for anything else. However, it could stand to be a bit more flexible.

Nine Sols is a visually stunning game, and the art is flexible and expressive, capturing its energy very well. Unfortunately, the style isn’t quite as iconic.

In Stars and Time’s art is cute and relatively simple, while maintaining a lot of expressiveness, and it manages to be distinct and recognizable while not being particularly out there. The lack of colors is part of its recognizability, though, which takes away from what can be done with the art style to an extent.

Rain World has three different “styles”, that being the pixelated in-game style, the simplified remix menu style, and the cutscene style (which is pretty varied and largely characterized by its shading). While they aren’t particularly special on their own, within their niche, they each convey different messages and are used for different things, serving not only as a way to visualize what the game has to offer, but a means of communication.

Purrfect Apawcalypse is visually distinct and hard to mistake for other art styles, relatively easy to replicate but hard to master. It’s simple and cute, and in a “cute characters dying horribly” type of story, it works just about perfectly. However, it does have design limitations… Especially with details. It’s meant to be a more simple style for simpler designs.
