"Arent Hunter's supposed to always be ready?" she drawled.

it's commitment, it's devotion, it goes often without saying, but is felt nonetheless. it's accepting that you would travel to hell and back for them if they asked and knowing that they would do the same for you. it's an old ache, long after they've burrowed deep into your chest and settled there like a weight- grounding, an anchor point. even when you're apart, you can still feel the shape of them, it's like phantom pain. neither of you can help but succumb to the other's gravity, yet neither of you fear the collision. it means that you trust them, that they make you feel safe, that they feel like home.

Honestly i dont know what general consensus is on a lot of things I read, mostly because the discourse around things tends to be irritating? But I thought Identity crisis was fine. Its a dark story, and the subject matter is horrifying, but i dont think thats a bad thing.

My information might be outdated here, but i remember Damian wayne being really unpopular and i think hes great! Grant Morrison is the only one who really understands that character, and he should have stayed dead, but hes great in Morrison's run and that Batman and Robin series by... Tomassi i think?

trace. sender is much closer to receiver than usual and notices something different and gently traces their finger along that part of reciever's face. (beauty mark, scar, dimples, etc.)
couch. sender and receiver wake up after accidentally napping on the couch together.
floor. for whatever reason, sender and receiver choose not to share the same bed or couch. one party takes the floor and both keep striking up conversation, whether it is bickering or heartfelt.
twin bed. sender and receiver share a twin bed, likely too small for them and causing them to be closer than usual.
small space. sender and receiver have to hide in a closet or locker that hardly has anyroom for them. they're hiding from something or someone, but they can't help but to notice the way the other's heartbeat.
