Last Song: Fool Moon by Anteros. I cannot get enough of that song rn. Also just a feeling by jungle bobby! Listen to that song if you want happiness injected straight into your system. I physically cannot hold myself back from dancing to that song.
Last Book: I actually haven't picked up any new books in a WHILE. I've been on a rereading spree and recently reread my FAVORITE BOOK SERIES EVER, Carry On by Rainbow Rowell, but I think the most recent book before that that I had never read previously was A Strange and Stubborn Endurance by Foz Meadows. The latter is royalty fiction with murder mystery intrigue, if I'm remembering correctly, but it was much more political than I was expecting and sort've lost me towards the end. I loveeee me some fictional royalty, but getting into the weeds of court politics is where I start to get bored. That being said, great book if the nitty gritty of royal politics is your thing!
Last Movie: I got, like, part of the way through The Gorge? I'd like to finish it at some point, but don't know if I'll drum up the effort any time soon. The last movie I watched all the way through was Baby Driver and that movie is fucking AWESOME. I did not think I was going to like it as much as I did, but I cannot deny how much I looooooooooooooove a chase sequence in an action film.
Last TV Show: Just finished watching season 5 of Stranger Things with my best friend! I thought it was fine. It certainly was not the cinematic finish I was expecting for a show with such an iconic first season, but I'm not as angry as a lot of people are with the ending. Perhaps I'm disenchanted after a lifetime of shit TV show endings, lmao. I just wanted the big finale monster fight to be way longer and the stakes higher.
Favorite Color: I have TWO! They're tied for first place. Firstly, orange. Specifically, sunset orange. Sherbet orange. Mandarin orange. Nostalgic summer orange. Happy, warm, infuses you with the best kind of contentment orange. Secondly, blue! Could you have guessed? I love all shades of blue, it's a very easy color to love, but I think I particularly like gray blue, rainstorm blue, feeble milky morning light blue. Soft, gentle, quiet, blanketing blue.
Spicy, sweet, or savory: Sweet, for sure. I'm not much of a candy fiend, but breakfast-style sweets? Pastries? Sign me uuuuuuup.
Current obsession: Is it a cop-out to say my own comic? 🫣 I spend all my waking hours thinking about my characters and the story. It's all I want to draw. It's the only thing I want to spend time on. This is the longest obsession I've ever had for one of my own personal projects ever, I think. Aside from NimbusClan, I've been playing the shit out of Planet Zoo the last few days. I get sucked into that game for HOURS.
Last Search: I'm currently writing a heist fic for a different fandom, so my search history is full of art museum blueprints and layouts, what type of fabric high-end suits are made from, the intricacies of museum security -- etc. Whoever's spying on my search history to curate my ads probably thinks I'm planning to have my own go at the Louvre.
Looking Forward To: Getting back to working on Nimbus pages 😅 I reeeeeally have to lock in on this fic because I put it off for months and there's a deadline, but all I want to do is DRAW MY CATS.
