Between Cloud and Chasm

After a devastating landslide wipes out their Clan, orphaned siblings Moonpaw and Fogpaw are left with nothing but the mountain beneath their paws and each other. Forced into a relentless search for a new place to call home, the small duo grows into a makeshift Clan along the way. New friends aren't the only ones following them on their journey, however - a malicious cat from the Chasm follows in their wake, determined to put an end to the Clan she thought she had destroyed.

I've been mulling this over forever and can't bring myself to a conclusion, so I need your help.

With the comic updates I post getting longer and longer and more involved, it ends up taking me SO long to draw the comic pages AND write the story portions. It's just so much freakin' work.

Right now, I have myself capped at six pages an update because I risk burnout doing any more than that, but then it means chopping my moons into several parts. It works FINE, but... I was wondering how you'd feel if I just stopped writing the story portions.

I originally started this blog as a combo because I felt I was a stronger writer than an artist, and I never expected to get this invested in the drawing part. However, I REALLY like doing the comic pages! They're so fun! It's just a lot of work to do all of these together.

So, all that to ask:

Fogfreckle is a cisgender pansexual tom!

🩶 Did this character use any other labels or terms before finding the right one(s) that truly fit? How many?

Fogfreckle doesn't actually care about the labels all that much. To put a label on his attraction, he is pansexual, but to him it's simply because it doesn't matter all that much. The right cat will be the right cat, and that much he is sure of (he is not, however, canonically demi).

🩵(Clanwide)- Has any cat in the Clan faced cruelty for being queer, trans, or intersex? How did they deal with it?

While NimbusClan's story doesn't center homophobia or transphobia in any of its plotlines, one of my favorite plotlines is about a cat who doesn't quite understand their queer attraction to their best friend. It's an internal battle!
