Cattopia is the imaginary place that I created for all cats. I decided to draw this place on my iPad, because I love cats and I am a big fan of @natgeo animals encyclopedia book and WarriorCats books series. Sink or Float Science Experiment | Science For Kids | Easy Peasy DIY For Kids
Hello my friends! Can you guess which fruit will float and which will sink? Let's try Sink or Float Science Experiment! Doing these science experiments for kids is a lot of fun and it's easy to do them at home. This amazing science for kids experiment does not require any special supplies and can be easily done with regular household items. All you need for this home science experiment is a lot of different fruits! Different fruits can float or sink depending on their density. As you can see in my video, an orange initially floats, but once you remove the peel from the orange, it will sink. The unpeeled orange is filled off with tiny pockets of air and its rind is very porous. But the peeled orange is more dense than water, it sinks. These amazing science experiments are awesome for kids, science fairs and science camps. Try these simple home science experiments with kids and enjoy them.

Dancing Raisins Science Experiment | Science For Kids | Easy Peasy DIY For Kids
Have you seen dancing raisins? Let's try Dancing Raisins experiment! Doing these science experiments for kids is a lot of fun and it's easy to do them at home. This amazing science for kids experiment does not require any special supplies and can be easily done with regular household items. Adult support is needed, especially when you're dealing with vinegar. All you need for this home science experiment are: - raisins; - clear glass; - unopened soft drink, 591 mL. Instructions: 1. Open and slowly pour soft drink into the glass until it is full for 2/3. 2. Drop 5-7 raisins into the glass. 3. Wait and watch what happens. How it works: When you drop raisins into the glass, they initially sink to the bottom, because they are more dense than water. Carbon dioxide bubbles stick to the raisins and lift raisins up to the surface (increase raisins buoyancy). Once carbon dioxide bubbles pop on the surface, the raisins will sink to the bottom of the glass. This process continues until there is no carbon dioxide left in the soft drink. Now change a soft drink to water, add some baking soda and vinegar. Drop some lentils and watch!

How to Make a Lava Lamp and Rain Clouds | Science For Kids | Easy Peasy DIY For Kids
Hello my friends! In this science experiment for kids video, I compiled 2 incredible science experiments. Those are Rain Clouds science experiment and 2 Lava Lamps science experiments both with Alka - Seltzer tablets and without them. Doing these science experiments for kids is a lot of fun and it's easy to do them at home. Adult support is needed, especially when you dealing with vinegar.
Rain clouds is an easy and simple weather science experiment to demonstrate clouds and rain for your kids in a hands-on way. This amazing science for kids experiment does not require any special supplies and can be easily done with regular household items.
All you need for this home science experiment are:
- cylindrical vase with water;
- shaving foam;
- food coloring.
Instructions: 1. Fill the vase with water leaving enough space for shaving cream on the top 2. Spray a bunch of shaving cream on top of water in the vase 3. Drop different colours of food coloring on top of shaving cream clouds 4. After watch what will happen below the clouds
How it works: When your shaving cream "or clouds" are saturated with food coloring or "rain droplets", they get heavier and the food coloring starts dropping or "raining down" into the vase.
Lava lamp science experiment is definitely one of the most popular science experiments of all times. The great news is that you can easily find all required supplies for this easy-peasy science experiment in your home or classroom. Lava lamp can be done both ways with and without Alka Seltzer.
Required supplies (with Alka Seltzer):
- cylindrical vase;
- water;
- olive oil;
- Alka-Setzer tablet;
- food coloring;
- plastic cup.
Instructions: 1. Fill the vase with water for 1/4 2. Fill about 2 plastic cups with olive oil, so it makes about 3/4 of your vase 3. Pour olive oil into the vase with water 4. Add food coloring to your mixture 5. Drop Alka Seltzer tablets into the vase. You can break 1 Alka-Seltzer tablet into 3-4 pieces.
How it works: Alka-Seltzer tablets include sodium bicarbonate, which when reacting with water makes tiny bubbles of carbon dioxide. These bubbles take some blobs of water with them and deliver them to the top of the vase. When bubbles pop, the blobs sink down to the bottom of the vase.
Required supplies (w/o Alka Seltzer):
- cylindrical vase;
- vinegar and olive oil;
- baking soda;
- food coloring;
- plastic cup and plastic container;
- wooden stick.
Instructions: 1. Drop a few spoons of baking soda to the bottom of the vase 2. Fill the vase with olive oil 3. Pour vinegar into a plastic container and add a few drops of food coloring 4. Add vinegar to the vase with baking soda and olive oil
How it works: Similar to lava lamp experiment with Alka-Seltzer tablets above, when vinegar reacts with baking soda (sodium bicarbonate), carbon dioxide gas bubbles are made. These bubbles attach themselves to vinegar and back out of the water and up through the olive oil to the surface. When the bubbles burst, the blobs sink back to the bottom of the vase.
These amazing science experiments are awesome for kids, science fairs and science camps. Try these simple home science experiments with kids and enjoy them.
