What Does Eames Smell Like?
There were some really interesting responses to this question. Seems people have given it a lot of though. Bolded bits are my thoughts.
Beard oil and sex (I like where this is going)
Anything between an expensive imported cologne or axe, depends if he's on the run from something (This seems incredibly likely)
Expensive cologne, bourbon, and smoky back room poker games (Mmm)
Tobacco, nag champa and altoids (Interesting)
vaguely masculine toiletries and sarcasm (Arthur is definitely addicted to this smell)
Cedar and bergamot and leather (Ohh, very nice)
Warm bourbon, pipe tobacco, and Motorcycle exhaust (This makes me think heās a DI in 1960s Oxford...)
Serge Lutens Santal Majuscule (If Eames smells like this I am allergic to him, but I hear itās lovley)
Cedar (My favourite scent, headcanon accepted)
like, when you sit down on a seat on a train that was recently vacated--so much so that the seat is still warm, and you can smell the dregs of a really really fancy cologne. like a cologne lacroix but tinged with the egalitarian must of public transportation (I once followed someone off a bus for smelling like this)
cigarettes, apples and cologne (Ohh, the apples make it interesting. I wonder what kind?)
Vetiver and sandalwood and moss and his own musk (āVeltiver is aĀ tall, erect, rigid...ā okay, youāve convinced me)

Fresh sage, cedar. Spiced undertones, musk (Can I lick him?)
probably some mixture of onion quavers and aftershave (Bahahaha!)
Depending on the time of day, cloves, street cart meat, or Arthur (All three on a good day, amirite?)
Sweat, slight cologne, and coffee (Ah, the scent of a modern man)
clean clothes. he's too mercurial to have a go-to cologne (very good point)
Patch Kids and Old Spice (He probably tastes like this, too)
bay rum, papaya, and malt (Good times)
Like mix of Lemon, Patchouli, Cigarettes and Snark (I need to know what snark smells like now)
Irish Spring, wood chips, cigarette smoke, and cherry candy (Is Eames my dad? OMG, IS EAMES MY DAD?)
stranger danger :/ (forgers are like that sometimes) (A stranger is just a friend you havenāt made yet...Arthur disagrees, but he took Eames home anyway)
warm....snoft (I really hope this wasnāt a typo becauseĀ āwarm....snoftā is the best description of Eames Iāve ever read)
Fancy Cologne (All of it. He runs through a department store each morning collecting samples like a kid running through a sprinkler on a hot day)
