Being petite, flat-chested, liking Sanrio, pastel fashion, bows, or cute aesthetics does not make someone responsible for another person’s sexual interpretation. What someone likes and how someone dresses isn’t bad, and having feminine and childish interests aren’t inherently sexual. If your clothing, avatars, or self expression are non explicit and don’t depict or encourage sexualization of children, then the issue isn’t the clothing or what your interests are, it's those who interpret them sexually. We don’t tell adults irl with flat chests to dress differently because someone might fetishize them. We don’t tell short women they’re responsible for attracting creeps just because of their height (which I've seen ppl talk about this?). We don’t tell people to stop liking cartoons because they're all grown up and can't like things from their childhood without someone else's weird fixations about it. The only thing inappropriate about this is the person doing the sexualizing, not with the person existing or expressing themselves innocently. There is also a difference between healing through aspects of childhood, (whether that’s through art, games, fashion, or nostalgia) and sexualization of children/ageplay. Those are separate concepts. Unless someone is creating sexual content involving childlike imagery or advocating it, accusing them of being a predator based solely on aesthetics is dumb as fuck. If you're going to make claims, at least have actual proof. As far as I'm aware a fully clothed ADULT in whimsical/nostalgic clothing is not inheritly sexual nor is it bad? You don't just have to stop liking things because you grew up. Fun doesn't stop when you're an adult either. You don't have to dress in monochromes just to seem more adultish. I've never seen this be an issue outside of online spaces.
