Art Project Complete

Hand-embroidered Society Against Evil patch, using DMC thread 676 "Light Old Gold" and brown fabric. Measures 11.5 cm across (a little bigger than your palm). Overall, 12 hours to complete, split across three days. 6-strand satin stitch over top chain stitch, forming a padded satin stitch to give it a more embossed look.

Fun fact: though the specific symbol used by SAE does not appear to be an existing apotropaic symbol, it does seem to be inspired by the symbols of the planets and the seals in the Lesser Key of Solomon. The SAE wiki originally claimed it was an "actual occult symbol," but I was unable to find any evidence of that fact, and the entry has been fixed.

six main characters total. one of said main characters is dead, and for fun sakes, it would probably be a combo of the three main etn seasons. while the ghosts haunting the island are also a combo of the other seasons.

im thinking lele, eva, roi, jc, andrea, and alex for the main cast??? alex is the dead one and was the brother to roi, who then died a day before he could leave with his girlfriend, lauren, who isn't on the trip but was close friends with lele. roi's new stepsibling is andrea, jc is roi's best friend, and eva is the new girl lele took pity on and invited.

the ghosts that end up possessing roi and co. as well as haunting the ship are a combination of lost souls lost to the island after tragic accidents. they communicate through radios, records, mirrors, and by possessing people. alex is trapped in some mirror realm from the desperate spirits and is being used as bait for roi to become their new main host.
