Blue Devil aka Daniel Cassidy has held a special place in the DC Comics world for over 30 years. While he has frequently been dismissed as a joke character, Blue Devil is a fascinating fixture in this fictitious universe. First a movie special effects artist and stuntman, then a bona fide movie star this character bridges a subtle meta-fiction gap in DC comics. Since the debut of the Arrow series and more recently the Flash series viewers have received subtle hints that Blue Devil exists in the DC Comics Live action television world.

Manu Bennett Campaigning For ‘Deathstroke’ TV Series   

If this goes through, will this series also include all of Slade Wilson’s children Grant, Rose and the Teen Titan Joseph Wilson aka Jericho?

Greg Berlanti will have a total of six comic book shows on The CW this coming season with Arrow, The Flash, Legends of Tomorrow, Supergirl, Riverdale and the new DC series Black Lightning. But it looks like an Arrow actor wants his own spin-off as Manu Bennett, who plays Slade Wilson, expressed the interest on social media recently for a Deathstroke series. 

Bennett has been using twitter to spread awareness to fans about his hopes for a Deathstroke tv series. 

In addition to that, Bennett stated in a later tweet that he would want Marv Wolfman, the creator of the Slade Wilson character, to be involved with the series.

Now, more recently developments in the new DCEU have seen Joe Manganiello confirmed to fill the role of the infamous killer for higher Deathstroke in the movies. Again the question is, will this version have children, and will one of them be his highly possessive son Joseph. Whatever the case get refreshed on Deathstroke’s earliest appearances and his complex relationship with his strong, silent and heroic son Jericho.
