people who get into batfam and pretty much Only consume fan media (i.e fics & art etc etc) are FINE. like most of those people are into it for the family fluff dynamics which unless you are planning on reading random single issues completely disjointed with no context you aren’t gonna get in canon.

Tim decided to wear Kon’s colours (red and black) instead of the traditional Robin colours. completely changing the costume for him.

Tim tried to clone Kon. he tried to clone Kon 99 times. if he had tried more, he would’ve succeeded as seen in a future timeline of Titans of Tomorrow

every time Tim had a near death experience, he wondered if he would see Kon again. he just wanted to see Kon again. didn’t mind the idea of his own death

in a timeline where Tim died, Kon became Robin. he took to training with Batman and he took up the mantle that Tim likely died for

Kon can read Tim. the two of them can read each other really fucking well. Kon instantly calls out that the Red Robin arc was a self-imposed punishment for Tim

Kon also forgives Tim instantly for the cloning. and that’s a rough topic for Kon. but still - it’s forgiven. no question

finally - while the heartbeat thing is fanon, Kon does always show up the moment that Tim calls. he is always listening for Tim’s voice and Tim’s call. he is always there for him

The worst thing for Superboy already struggling for relevance with Jon around is to be relegated to Tim’s boyfriend. Any agency he has will be permanently stolen from him. We’ve seen what happened with starfire. She is not allowed to move Past Dick Grayson even though dc has gone all in with DickBabs. She is forced to pine eternally because no character is allowed to move past their relationship with a batfam member.
