Bakugou being adopted by EraserMic headcanons
So the other day I read this post about this AU where Aizawa adopts Bakugou because of his abusive parents and I really really liked it so that made me think about some headcanons in such an AU..
⢠The first few weeks after Shouta and Hizashi took Katsuki in were the weirdest and most awkward times any of them ever experienced
⢠Shouta and Hizashi were used to their life together as a couple after all they had lived together for almost a decade now
⢠But now there was this constantly angry boy in the middle of puberty sharing the house with them when they hadnât put much thought into having children later. They had worked as a team of two just fine so it took a little time to get used to this entirely new situation
⢠But they did have a long discussion about the decision to take Katsuki in cause they couldnât just let him continue to live with his abusive parents. And after that talk they were 100% sure about it.
⢠Even though Shouta never really admitted it he had taken a liking to Katsuki from the beginning. Of course the boy was very aggressive and hard to control but from the start Shouta could sense that he just needed a little more attention and had to be taught with patience. And thatâs what he did. Of course he was strict but he always tried to see through Katsukis habits and moods to realize what was going on with him
⢠And thatâs how he realized what was going on at the Bakugouâs home. That his parents were abusive, that they were a big part of the reason for Katsukis aggressive behaviour and that he needed something to do about that
⢠So he talked to Katsuki about it and at first of course the boy didnât want to admit it but Shouta could be very convincing and he saw through everything. There was no point in denying it really.
⢠Shouta told the boy that if he was okay with it heâd find a way to get him out of that household
⢠And after months and months of discussions, hearings and trials Katsuki was finally able to leave his parents. He had agreed to be taken in by Shouta and Hizashi. At first they thought about it just being a temporary solution but after just a few days they were more than sure that they would raise the boy further until he would be able to lead a life of his own. They didnât want him to go into foster care because they knew that wouldnât be the right thing for him
⢠So yeah, everything was really weird in the beginning. Living with your teachers .. Who does that? But to be honest it wasnât that bad.
⢠Shouta and Hizashi owned a really nice house you wouldnât really expect them living in. It was really spacious with big windows and brightly lit rooms. It had one floor and a huuuge attic. And when everything was kept clean it actually looked like straight out of a catalogue
⢠They had arranged a really nice room for Katsuki (the former guest room). It wasnât that big but he was more than thankful (he showed it through not cursing as much as usual)
⢠The fridge was filled with all different kinds of capri sun that there wasnât much space left for food but that also changed soon after Katsuki started to live with them
⢠It wasnât the healthiest food but still they tried at least
⢠After some time they all got used to living as a household of three. They all got to know each others habits and found a way to get along. Soon it seemed like Katsuki had always lived with Shouta and Hizashi
⢠They love watching tv together in the evening. Well, more or less.. Shoutaâs usually sleeping on or behind the couch in his sleeping bag. Hizashi likes braiding or brushing his husbandâs hair while watching some weird reality show or something. And Katsuki just appreciates the company and the warmth of having this new weird but awesome little family.
⢠Most of the other students didnât realize that Katsuki lived with his teachers until it just slipped out of him one day
⢠Even though it was pretty obvious because of how close he was with them suddenly.
⢠The first person Katsuki told was of course Eijirou and he soon got to hang out at the Aizawa/Yamada/Bakugou household.
⢠Hizashi almost shat himself laughing when Katsuki asked if his boyfriend could come over for the first time. He never would have thought that the boy could actually act shy (in his own special way of course)
⢠It was just that Eijirou was the first of his friends coming over and Katsuki didnât want to be impudent or anything cause at that time he hadnât lived that long with his new guardians
⢠It went a little like this: âCan I .. uhm .. ask you something?â Hizashi and Shouta looked at him. The latter with a slightly raised eyebrow. âFuck uhm I.. yeah .. no just fucking forget itâ âjust say it alreadyâ, Shouta just said. âYou know I.. uh .. wanted to.. yeah I wanted to fucking ask if ..someonecouldcomeoverâŚ.?!â. Hizashi thought it was cute how he actually asked and for his usual self it was rather polite. They wouldnât have minded it if he just brought his friends over. Shouta just answered âThis is your house now too, you can bring over whomever you wantâ and shrugged before leaving the conversation. Katsuki of course never showed or admitted it but when Shouta said that he felt like he was finally home again
⢠Eijirou thinks the house is amazing and almost never leaves
⢠But Shoutaâs actually pretty strict when it comes to you know.. teenagers doing the do and stuff
⢠Hizashi is a little confused by that cause well .. when they were teenagersâŚ
⢠Katsuki and Eijirou still find time to fuck like rabbits without the dads noticing
⢠Hitoshi of course knew it as well cause heâs related to Shouta so he visits from time to time. He doesnât really like Katsuki but he accepts him and is still kind of glad heâs out of that household. Nobody should have to live like that
⢠Shouta and Katsuki often text each other even when theyâre in the same room. Hizashi is a little confused by that. âWhy not just talk to eachother? Thatâs so much easier!â He never gets an answer
⢠Shouta really enjoys texting with Katsuki cause they actually text quite a lot about the most different and weird topics and he feels like in a way theyâre building trust through that
⢠Before Katsuki lived with them Hizashi mostly did the cooking. Shoutaâs not allowed in the kitchen because then youâll get something like âcapri soupâ. When Katsuki first tried Hizashis food he didnât really look happy so now heâs in charge of the kitchen because his cooking is AMAZING.
⢠Hizashi likes to accompany Katsuki in the kitchen to learn some things he can do better and he really enjoys those hours because thatâs their way of trust building and they almost always have the best time while cooking
⢠Whenever Shouta sees them in the kitchen together he secretly takes videos before leaving for the bedroom to let them have their quality time
⢠Katsuki doesnât really call them âDadsâ cause well thatâd still be a little weird and everyone of them is okay with that.
⢠Only sometimes when itâs too hard to explain he just says âMy fathersâ. Same goes for Shouta the other way 'round. Hizashi almost always refers to Katsuki as âMy boyâ when heâs not around and he always has the proudest expression on his face when talking about him
⢠Sometimes the three of them like to take long evening walks. Itâs mostly Hizashi who talks, the others just listen but they all enjoy it. Itâs a time where they can just be themselves without their quirks and everything thatâs happening around them, where they can just breathe for a moment
⢠After a long discussion with Shouta Katsuki agrees to go to a therapist for his anger management issues. Shouta tells him that heâs in charge of choosing the therapist and if itâs not the right one he can always go to another. Itâs all in his hand
⢠After a few sessions he already feels a little more relaxed and after a few more itâs also noticeable.
⢠When Shouta notices he actually tells Katsuki how proud he is of him
⢠The two of them sometimes train together. Itâs just physical training without using their quirks and Shoutaâs able to teach the boy some useful moves
⢠Katsuki finds a way to connect those moves with his quirk and kind of develops a new fighting style
⢠When Eijirou first sees it he canât close his mouth for a while cause itâs just the most graceful thing ever
⢠Even though he never shows it Shouta really enjoys when Katsuki has his boyfriend or his 'squadâ over cause he can see what good friends they are and how they support him and itâs just the best thing ever to see Katsuki happy
⢠But they tend to be quite loud and thatâs still annoying
⢠Nonetheless they develop a life together that all of them love and they couldnât be happier
