Local author, Sallyann Phillips, releases a childrenās book designed to include the children and the parents in alternative families.
Sallyann Phillips, a U.K author located in Wales, has written a childrenās book that has been published as a triple release covering children and parents in alternative families, each paperback copy designed as a keepsake allowing the giver to put a picture, along with the name and date of birth, of the child inside.
Sallyann said āWhen I finished writing Good Night Mummy Good Night Dad, I thought about my daughter and her wife, wondering if there were any books out there that catered to families like they will have one day. Every one of them seemed to be focused on, what we call, traditional families, and Good Night Mummy Good Night Mum, along with Good Night Daddy Good Night Dad, were born so that alternative families wouldnāt, once again, be left outā
Sallyann accomplished this by altering key words in her books to be able to publish in triplicate, and in the paperback copies she encourages the children to draw and name the animal characters they see allowing them to interact with the books.
Sallyann Phillips is a Welsh author that has published seven books since the start of her writing career, along with another four and a screenplay with an American author she has formed a writing partnership with under the brand name duttonNphillips, who are already in the process of writing other literary works.
