I asked one of my (male) friends to stop using the phrase “man up” and he has been using “fortify” for the past two weeks instead and it’s just a little thing but honestly it makes a difference

and tbh it’s also pretty funny when I start to deflate in the library and he leans over and goes “FORTIFY”

Something I’ve always wished for when preparing my Dungeon Master’s notes for an upcoming D&D game session was to have a workshop of kobolds to delegate some of the workload to.

Sure, kobolds aren’t exactly the brightest of creatures, but the thought just amuses me greatly. Tiny little lizard men darting around with papers and pencils as I say to them:

“Okay Jerry, I need a water-themed level 4 human wizard. Go stat that out for me. And Snapster, I need a dungeon map for a medium-sized abandoned guard tower, around four stories tall. Now Gergall, I know you’re only semi-decent at maths, but I need you to go look up the mass per cubic-inch of human ash and use that to make a weight-based puzzle for this doorway. Oh, and Shrillette, put on my D&D playlist so I can jam while I write up this NPCs backstory. Then go help Gergall check his math. Please and thank you. I’ll be coming around in about twenty minutes to double-check your work. Once we have this whole dungeon planned out top-to-bottom, there’s mutton for everyone!”
