Now for a computer it can be anything. I’m drawing on my laptop and it’s not even a good one.

A drawing tablet next, if you are new and you just want to get into the digital art you gotta go for the ones that are cheaper and don’t have a screen on them. They can do a lot even if it’s a small on. I’m drawing on a Wacom Intuos Small with bluetooth (or something like that, it’s been a year or two and I can’t remember exactly what it’s name)

And for the drawing software, there are a lot free ones. A very good free program is Krita. Completely free and you can also animate in it. There is also Sketchbook, Medibank and Fire alpaca. You can also search on youtube on how to download programs that need paying for free and with no subscription. (That’s how I downloaded clip studio paint)

Now you can also draw on your phone tho it will be way too hard, personally thinking. What you will need to draw on your phone is your finger, or a touch pen and a drawing app

I believe that everyone has a finger (not sure tho) but if you don’t you can buy a touch pen for 2€ on a bookstore. They’re easy to find and most importantly cheap.

Now there are again a lot of free apps in the play store/apple store. A very famous app for drawing is Ibis Paint X but if you just search “drawing apps” on your app store it will give you a lot of options

It touches on topics I wish we could have seen fleshed out and better paced, and given it’s proper spotlight. 

But as someone who has been through more than a few shows with abrupt cancellations where not even the show-runners/writers were informed by the network’s decisions….this was a great ending! And it’s no easy feat either, given how many characters there are! Giving enough attention to the groups and clusters, still having a plot, and having an ‘ending’ note…this show did an amazing job. 

We live in a time where it’s known for shows to have heart and story and I like to believe that if the writers had the funding and time, we could have gotten so much more. So it’s a small reminder here that the writers and creators have bosses and a work place with goals to meet. It’s part of a business and unlike Scrooge, show business ain’t fair and square. 

I was doing idle research in hope of some inspiration in regards to Donald’s military time and what his rank was, and came across this. 

It’s given me some ideas, but maybe it could also inspire others! (I’ll copy and paste it below in case the picture is hard to read)

Health

In some videos and other documents is mentioned that the US requested Disney company to design an emblem for a ship  (USS Wasp) 

The design was well received so more emblems were requested, and more iconic characters were used. While there was a lot of characters, the most common ones used in other ships and airplanes was Donald.

Those were requested and/ or painted by the soldiers since he was portrayed as a soilder or a citizen worried and wanting to help other soldiers.

He appears as a regular soilder  in “Donald gets drafted”, “The vanishing private”, “Fall out, Fall in” and “The old army game” and as a paratrooper in  “Sky trooper”.

Then he gets other position in “Comando Duck” as the name says a COMANDO, this position is typically british, and there was only 1 with a combination of American and Canadian soldiers called “First special service force” also Knows as the “Devil´s Brigade”

From these cartoons we get information about Donald:

He has a form of colorblindness (difficult for him to difference between blue and green), flat feet, too short (he is a duck :v) and little coordination. Still the army took him :B.

In other cartoons when he is not a soldier, he is often portrayed as a citizen worried for paying his taxes to help.

For Donald´s 50th Bday (1984) Donald had been on active duty for 42 years, the U.S. Army decided to do something to acknowledge Donald’s long time in service, so they sent a four star general, Lt. Gen. Arthur E. Brown, Jr., director of the Army staff, to preside over a ceremony during which Donald simultaneously was promoted and retired. 

Donald received the rank of Buck Sergeant. As Donald was being honoured, the entire Disney duck family looked on – Daisy Duck, Scrooge McDuck, Ludwig Von Drake, Huey, Dewey and Louie and even Grandma Duck.

“And what rank was the Duck promoted to before the Army then retired him?,” you query. Appropriately enough, E5. Which made Donald a Buck Sergeant. Buck Sergeant Duck, to be specific.

And the well know part in Ducktales were he is in the Navy.

Now this is the SAD/BAD part, If you take in consideration that is a cartoon, and everything is funny, then is not a real problem, but in context there is one short where Donald… makes a massacre ;A; (and yes the cartoon has stereotypes)

Donald has a mission (alone) so like is a suicide mission or … yes suicide mission. He ends surrounded by the enemy (and his boat is about to explode) but he afronts his destiny as a soldier.
