Each year there is a different Thriller Master. Last year it was Lee Child, author of the Jack Reacher series (see our interview with him here!) This year it was George R. R. Martin, author of the ‘A Song of Ice and Fire’ series that HBO’s Game of Thrones is based on. He spoke on several panels, giving great insight into his career, providing funny anecdotes from book signings (he once had -4 people at a signing before he became famous), and was the guest of honor at the annual banquet, where he was the subject of the musical parody sketch from authors Daniel Palmer and Brad Parks (I look forward to their performance every year). 

Our author interviews this year include international and bestselling authors Jon Land, KJ Howe, Peter James, Brandan Reichs, Sandra Brannan, Alan Jacobson, Adam Hamdy, and Yigal Zur, so stay tuned!
