Julian can tell by her reaction this is not an easy topic, not that he had any doubt about it, but, its pretty clear she's not as well as she say she is, maybe she haven't really given it any thought, what she would do if she crosses paths with her family, he imagined this was also something she did not want to think about.
"You know, Adelaide, you don't have to keep running," Julian stops in front of her, placing his hands on her sholders, he bends his knees a little to be at eye level, "You cannot spend your life running, buddy, I know this is probably something you don't wanna hear right now, and I kow its complicated and there's probably a lot more I don't know about but--just know you got people here who cares for you," He removes his hands moving away a little as he goes back to walking, thinking about if he should actually say what he was thinking, he didn't want to make her mad at him, he cared too much for the girl, Julian sighs, "Look, I'm only gonna say this once I won't push or insist on it, but Adelaide, if you truly want to be in peace, and be here, not having to suddenly run, or to always carry what happened with you, you'll have to face them," he pauses to look at her, unsure how she was gonna take it, "Your family, even if to tell them to go screw themselves, whether if that's a month, a year, five, from here, I truly believe you're gonna have to, to be able to move on," he tells her, he's being as honest as possible, he doesn't want to make her angry, but it's important to Julian to give her his point of view of thing, "You don't have to take my advice, or be ready to do anything with it now, just... keep in the back you mind," he nods, letting out another, "Okay, I can't promise you won't worry, but I can promise you to try."
