I filed bills today to change Maryland laws to stop auto insurance companies from charging premium based on a driver’s FICO score instead of his/her driving record, stop BGE from demanding a deposit from its existing customers who are senior citizens on limited income, and for courts to allow visitation rights to grandparents if in the best interest of a child. These bills aim to reduce indirect discrimination against seniors, people of limited means, and minorities.
