I agree that she shows signs of CPSTD. Being abused for an extended period at such a young age with the abuse being a direct contributor to the death of her friend has altered Trinity’s perception of herself and the world around her. She is unsafe, always, and the only way for her to BE safe is little things like her sarcasm and cockiness and her talents being unchallenged because she IS just that good. Once you poke at those defenses in an effective way she starts to wobble and it destabilizes her until she can either escape or engage in maladaptive coping skills.
