I polstulate that Rocky is short for an Eridian, because the whole idea was that the ship had limited space and so the whole team was made out of shorties - with the engineer/fixer being shortest of them all on the account of all nooks the and crannies he was expected to get into 🤔

He never told Grace, because it seems logical enough to be just a common fact.

Following that Rocky believes Grace is the shortest scientist humans could find and for the longest time assumes that humans are some sort of giants xD
