Got bored away from home yesterday and doodled Rue and Proto from Oneshot in my journal. Tried finishing the trio with Cedric this afternoon.
I'm finding out that the more human-looking a character is, the harder it is for me to draw them.

I dunno, just haven't really had much to say, it feels.
Doesn't help that I'm still kinda new to this platform, and have never used the "reblog" button before.
Maybe it's time for a status update on how I've been doing as of late? (Warning, it's a bit long.)
I'll be moving in to college shortly, and that means this is probably gonna be the last post I get to make from my nice desktop in my comfy room for the next couple months. Annoying laptop in a dorm room, here I come! (In a few days. I think.)
A couple of friends and I have been taking a break from YouTube use for the past few days. One of them's aiming to not use the platform for the entire rest of August. As for me, I will see how I feel at the end of one week. 2/7 days and I haven't felt any urge to doomscroll the home page, which is nice.
When it comes to art and stuff, I don't really have much to comment on. As of late I haven't been terribly motivated to do much. Not necessarily artblock, or burnout, but it's hard to place. Maybe I'll feel inspired to make something great when I'm up at college? Regardless, y'all will get to see it if it happens.
Writing-wise, I'm slowly chipping away at the third chapter of Smoke & Mirrors, my own PMD fic. It isn't much so far, but I'd like to think I'm improving bit by bit. I'll have to cross-post it here on Tumblr eventually. Some of my friends have been doing that with theirs. (Chasing Storms and Seekers of Soul) I was even thinking about adding some art to the chapters at some point, when I find the time.
I forgot to post about it, but the first session of that Dungeons & Dragons game I mentioned in a post a while back happened last sunday, and it was a blast! Unfortunately one of my players couldn't make it, but the rest of the group is getting along great. I'll have to write up/record some Campaign Diaries when I get the chance.
This blog itself could probably use some touching up. Don't really have any cool images to use as a banner at the moment, but at least I managed to fix the black title font on black background! Alas, whatever else needs changing will have to wait for another time.
I think that's about it for right now. I'll make some new tags to try and organize future posts, and will see y'all around.

I'm gonna admit; I'm burned out as hell art-wise from work I've been trying to force myself to do. Doubt I'll finish up any of that ArtFight stuff this month, but that's fine.
Anyway, it seems I'm still capable of stuff I WANT to do, so here's a goofy little sketch I made of Team Vanguard somewhere down the line. Haven't put too much thought into their evolved designs, so these are kinda placeholder.
