First row

King Barnacle is the current ruler of the Ocean Kingdom. He used to be the Standing for the previous Ocean, a pseudo-heir position of the royal family ran out of...well...family...which is done to prevent a succession crisis. He looks intimidating but he's mostly not. Primarily wary but friendly. Though that wariness is not from nowhere.

Ex-Prince Stargazer is the brother of King Barnacle and he defected from the Ocean Kingdom not too long after Barnacle's inauguration. Not only did he leave the kingdom, but he lost his title because he was later found as the Lunar Queendom's Council Member of Intelligence, presumably giving all he knew about the Squabrians. The reason for his betrayal isn't known but it made Ocean Kingdom residents question how Barnacle rose to power in the first place if his own closest and loyal servant abandoned his own integrity to help the enemy. A common misconception is that he's cutthroat or somehow evil, but he despised his decision so much but felt he had to do it, spreading even more suspicion towards Barnacle's succession.

Second row

Princess Conch is the beloved daughter of Barnacle. No one knows it yet, but she inherited the Water-type secret ability called Aquatic Pulse. This includes forms of waterbending as well as influence over aquatic life, plants and animals. She is very playful and hangs around her group of other Water-types. Sometimes they play on land, assured that the borders to the Ocean Kingdom are very guarded and rid of opposing factions. I don't know if imma get to her fic, but the answer is that they were wrong.
