Since I'm obsessed with socials now (and I watch @teaaddictyt streams and VODS where she gives me ideas...) here are some mods that affect Neurotic, Dramatic and Insane Sims! These are fun little self-interactions for storytelling or other purposes... I originally inserted these into the PersonGlobals TTAB. But as some of you may know, this causes a great deal of issues because it conflicts with other important mods.

So, I split them up into three separate controllers, so they don't conflict with anything! they all have unique GUIDS. These are non-autonomous and require Easy Inventory Check and the base traits mod by Hexagonal Bipyramid.

Interactions

Neurotic Sims can now "Freak Out" if their Comfort is low. They will cry, worry, or throw a tantrum and their comfort will increase. Paired great with my "Motive Decay" for traits, because Neurotics have greater Comfort decay!

Dramatic Sims can now "Fake Pass Out" like the Sims 3. Sims will react to your Sim, and their reactions depend on personality and traits (Evil Sims may enjoy it...). They can only do it if their Social is fairly low and it gives them Fun and Social.

Insane Sims (and this is my favorite) can now scream psychotically and everyone around them will react. I found a disabled/cut interaction called "Primal Scream" in the code so I just HAD to enable it for Insane Sims. There's an animation for this and everything!

Ok it doesn't show you the Anim, but trust me, it's great! And they actually scream! Like audibly!

Enjoy! Looking at this mod will also help you understand self-interactions if you're into modding!

I also have one for the Clumsy trait where they do the roller-skate fall animation randomly, but I can't get it to work autonomously in a controller. It stays in my PersonGlobals unfortunately.

wardrobe versions? 🥺 with some specific details though: I've been over-using the peacemaker grange mudroom set, because I love that the 1/2 tile depth reduces that cramped feeling when used in a walk-in or lining a whole wall. they are also floor objects, not wall, so they stay visible. big ask, I know, luckily this request could exclude anything we think is not bedroom-y enough?

Whoops I honestly didn't realise they weren't quarter-tile-able, sorry that's an oversight by me. I've updated them, you can either redownload or just run them through PickNMix's Object Relocator to quickly enable quarter-tile placement.

In terms of your request for wardrobes (and also @darkestdawn's request for functional fridge versions) - I lack the skills to do this sorry 🙈. Basically you'd need to separate the doors on the mesh and do joint animations, which I've been shown how to do once before and honestly my brain remembers zero about 😆🙈

I can tell you that @gummilutt has started working on making the Seasons Country pantry and the Romantic Wood pantry into functional wardrobes 💗 cos they had the same thought immediately haha. The project has unfortunately come to a standstill due to a poor health flare up, but those two at least will have a wardrobe version at some point in the future.

Had a request from @stinkyunicorn to revisit the mapping on the Value kitchen pantries, as some "fancier" custom recolours weren't looking the best.

As I also LOVE me some fancy recolours ( @eulolita you SPOIL us ma'am) this was definitely something I wanted to fix.

I fixed the tops of the pantries as requested but also made some improvements to the doors, which didn't look great...

That's looking a bit better to me 😆

I just updated the main archive with the improved mapping so you'll need to re-download, and just replace the two "Value" pantries if you'd like these improvements 😊

I made these posters for my community center and just now realized I didn't post them back then. Most of them are focused on handicrafts, though there are a few bingo ones too.

These are on a new mesh because I wanted to treat myself with a perfectly fit mapping for once. I made six different sign designs, all of them previewed above.

The files are compressed. The mesh is 2 polys, the textures are 256x256, and the thing is located under Deco/Wall for §48.

🎨 Color Traits Mod:

⚠️This mod requires Color Traits created by Epi @episims AND Trait Globals by @picknmixsims to work!

As all color trait mods, it makes the suitcase appear in Sim's favourite color (one of 12), if color trait is present in Sim's inventory. Grey is the default shade. You can choose between original suitcase or hardshell suitcase.

🔺Conflicts:

Pets and toddlers on Vacation by @lamare-sims - Suitcase mod needs to load AFTER Lamare's mod (add "zzz" suffix to the filename to make it load last).

BV suitcase texture replacements are not compatible with this. Also, modern default will clash with objects that use original Eaxis suitcase texture.

As I hinted at with my club counter mapping fix, I've been invested in a long-term-want-to-do-this-one-day project the last week or so. Pantries. ALL the pantries.

Dusting off my very meagre and rusty Blender skills, I have made some things for you all.

TS2 Conversion of the TS3Store Classically Cool Fixer Upper Car

It is a functional clone of the restorable junk car, and therefore requires the FreeTime EP. The finished product can also directly be bought from the Car section of Buy mode. The object seems glitch-free overall, but be warned that due to its ‘anatomical’ differences from the Maxis car, some animations are a bit off.

And wow, thisreally didn’t take as long to convert as I feared it would. :)

You may know how sinks get wiped from counters if you put some clutter in their corner slots (usually with moveobjects) and went to Live mode. I fixed that!

A quickie little mod I made for @kashmiresims related to sprinklers breaking. When a sprinkler breaks, the mod will throw a pop up and move your camera to show you where the sprinkler is. So if it drives you batty that sprinklers break and you don't notice and suddenly the environment is tanked then perhaps this will be useful to you too.

The mod includes a debug interaction that can break a sprinkler on command. I made it for testing purposes and I figured it might be useful for some storytellers so I left it in. If you do not want that part you can delete the TTAs, TTAB and Debug - Set Broken bhav.

@meltedpenguincc 4t2 Olivia Skirt and Sweater

Separates, sweater is unisex, skirt is girl-only, has fatmorph. With JaidynShoes, all from the Honeydew pack. I choose 10 colors for the skirt and 12 for the sweater. Textures are originally a bit overexposed, I changed it a bit after taking preview pics..
