Everything happens so much

if you are dissatisfied with the way Solas looks in the new DA4 trailer, I want to remind you that a lot of things still may change

Most of the companion comments in the Temple of Mythal are awful. And it really adds to this feeling.

Cassandra: Perform a ritual to appease elven gods? Long-dead or no, I don't like it.

Cassandra: How could the elves pour such devotion into this... nonsense?

Inquisitor: The Well of Sorrows! Cassandra: Andraste guide us. 

Varric: You know what? These elves are starting to scare me.

Sera: Oh no, this is bad. Rituals are bad. You can’t want this.

Sera: Elfy-elves didn't want normal people near their precious well.

[After killing the elves] Sera: Pfft! How old could they be if they died so stupid? Right?

Sentinel Guide: Vir sumeil. Inquisitor: Can anyone translate? Sera: I'll try. (Clears her throat.) Can. You. Talk. Like. Us! Sentinel Guide: Delltash! Inquisitor: Never mind.

Blackwall: So, good Andrastians, we offer a prayer to elven gods?

[After killing the elves] Blackwall: I thought ancient beings were supposed to be wise.

Iron Bull: You have any idea how much this place is worth? Inquisitor: Don't let Solas hear you say that. Iron Bull: Admit it. You were wondering.

[After killing the elves] Iron Bull: Apparently humans aren't the only stubborn fools on this continent. 

And all the companions except Solas and Dorian advocate for using the shortcut, and subsequently attacking the Sentinels, except for Solas and Dorian. The writers really wanted to persuade the player to use the shortcut.
