“–…You weren’t? Jesus…Jumped the gun again, fuck.” Now you rubbed your neck sheepishly, guilty over the sudden salt thrown for no reason. “M’ old caretaker called m’ it before playin’  games of grab ass when I wasn’t interested. It’s just sort of a sore spot for me, like sweet cheeks. Hate it.” Sure your caretaker in your era had SOME good qualities, but the negative far outweighed them. Lecherous, lazy…convinced you to get drunk and let things….happen. Yeah, he was on your shit list for a reason.

“So…yeah, now y’ know.”

“--I don’t know ‘ow many times I gotta tell ya t’is, but I ain’t gonna let somebody around ‘ere mess wit’ ya’s like t’at. Ya aren’t back in yer future world, or w’atever. Yer ‘ere wit’ me. So loosen up a little.” It was odd for someone like you to say such a thing--but you meant it. 

“–You called m’ somethin’ I’m not a big fan of. That’s where it came from, dumb ass.” No YOU were the dumb ass, you knew it too. How was he supposed to know that was a button pusher for you if you never told him in the first place? You were stupid.

“ Aw I thought you did. I bet you’re a good dancer if you tried “ she pouted. “ You didn’t do anything good? I mean…I’m guessing you don’t do any of those bad things now, right? “ she leaned over to ruffle his hair back to it’s normal messy style.

You had two left feet when it came to dancing. Sadly, there was no way around that. You’d just have to suffer a dance-less life. Oh well.

When she ruffled your hair you did your best to slip out of your jacket. You didn’t like wearing it much anymore. For starters, it was tight. You grew a decent amount of muscle since you last wore it. Lastly, it was hard to move in; bad for fighting.

                        “ Didn’t you lose the last time we did an arm wrestling match? I guess that was a while ago… What, two months? Three? ”                            She lost count. That’s the downside of coming around so few times. Irunya is interested to hear who has been kicking his ass ( so she can promptly go kick theirs ) but she decides not to ask about it. It’s utterly baffling to her that he hasn’t even asked why she’s super-humanly strong. He really must know a lot of tough gals. Surely none of them were as tough as her, though.                         “ Have you been eating your fair share of beets like I told you to? ”

“--Aye,” you said. “I did lose. I’ll ‘ave ya know t’at I’ve gotten a lot stronger since t’an. Like, stupid strong.” That was true and all--yet you still got beat every single time you and Rhen sparred. For a while Tabitha (a small doll) would knock you around, but that was a while ago. You could beat her in a match now, albeit barely.

Being bothered by weaker monsters wasn’t very odd for you. In fact, it was a regular occurrence. That didn’t make you hate it any less, however. If she hadn’t come along to swat the thing away--you would have crushed it.

I’m the strongest gal I know.”                         Irunya smiles, ruffling his hair like one would to a small child. Hey, old habits die hard. Her offer is genuine – she is stronger than she looks, and she can take more than a few blows. She’d love to help Blitz get a bit stronger, if that’s what he desires.

You groaned lowly as she ruffled your hair. Did she have to treat you like a little kid? It wasn’t bad; in fact, you actually felt very neutral about it. The whole ruffling your hair thing. You’d never admit to liking it--never, ever. She’d probably pinch your cheeks as a result.

“ But you look so cool! You can be apart a HUGE dance number with your crew! “ she snapped and gave him a set of finger guns.
