With her inspection done Jelissa returned to her spot near the door, watching him do his work. She leaned against the door jam and shifted the bundle in her arms, wondering if he’d be able to do what she needed. If the shape of the blade changed, or the hilt changed she could deal. Jelissa was adaptive and would learn. But if she lost the etching in the blade she’d be upset. Not at the smith, since gold usually made people try their best.
