I'm not sure what games Tumblr is playing but I never make posts that cannot be replied to. But to answer your question she (? only because you have identified them that way) didn't say the immigrants didn't know better, the Irish government is the one who has said that. My apologies for any confusion. She has taken the side of the immigrants over the Irish and that's what I and others called out.
I think Tumblr might be fucking up on my end sorry about that! I don't know that much Irish (I live in Canada so the little Irish I know is from Duolingo lmao) but in her intro-post she has 'Sí/í' which is Irish for She/her so I think she is a girl. I also think she is talking about Northern Ireland specifically which has a completely different government from Ireland the Republic. I don't know that much about Northern Ireland though so I might be wrong. Either way that's so disgusting of the Irish Government how come I have never even heard of this? Do you have the full quote of the statement? I was planning on saving up to visit Ireland because my great-grandmother was originally from County Cork but now I'm having serious second thoughts.
