Here is my custom Bee Boy made with Porter Geiss' head, Heath Burns' body and custom printed clawed hands. I would have posted him far earlier but there was always an issue with getting the hands done that I felt like I couldn't post him yet. I really wanted this specific hand position that was only used on CAM Gargoyle and Puma but I didn't have any spare so 3d printing seemed like the best way to go since it reminds me of the hands from Bee Girl.

His outfit is Prince Bee from the OMG series and the wings are glasses I trimmed the arms off from OMG Fierce Queen Bee's glasses. I figured since he is a male bee he would have smaller wings compared to my Bee Girls.

I'm really proud of how his hair turned out since I still struggle with mens hairstyles but I think it looks really nice on him.

Roman articulated doll made of carved amber

It was part of a child's grave goods. It was found alongside four other articulated ivory dolls in a villa. This is possibly the only surviving example of an amber doll from antiquity.

Life has been so wild for me in the past few years that I honestly haven't been able to indulge in some of my favourite things, namely; buying up dolls from Japan that need fixing up. Ever since the pandemic, shipping from Japan had been kind of crazy and between moving countries and planning my wedding, I just haven't been able to really look at doll lots.

But I stumbled across this one listing that had listed it being full of junk dolls and surprisingly it didn't have many people watching or bidding on it so I took my chances and won the auction.

Among the lot was not only Wataru kun, but a generation 2 Licca chan and her friend Harumi, a Polly Pocket esque doll named Candy chan, as well as the 90s Super Doll Licca and a pretty pristine Mattel Ariel doll with the darker saran variant and her tail being unblemished or worn.

While I mainly got this lot for Wataru, I do feel like the time gap between the older dolls and the newer ones lines up with the idea that they were owned by a mother and her daughter and I don't wanna separate the group after surviving so long together. So I did end up redressing and styling the dolls to all sort of go together in summery looks to match with Ariel's mermaid look. I like to think that Wataru, Licca, Harumi, and Candy are all Ariel and Super doll Licca's aunties and uncle.

Here are my two Guillermo Del Toro custom dolls. Honestly, if Frankenstein hadn't hit so hard aesthetically and made me inspired to finish the Frankenstein doll, the Asset would have spent at least a few more years unfinished.

The perks of a 1/3 diorama using pet furniture is that the pet will use the furniture too. so ringo hangs out in the corner of the room in the diorama while I craft at the desk

I've been knitting some tiny doll-sized mittens like this

But they're annoying to put on doll hands, especially the more elegant sculpts with separate fingers. So, I realised, I can just take some spare mtm hands; the boring pose is actually useful for once; and use a craft knife to reduce the peg a bit to make the hands more easily swappable without having to heat them up every time.

Put the hand inside the mitten, and just swap the whole thing whenever I wanna put on or take off the dolls' mittens.

I already use MengF hands on most of my dolls, and they're easy to take off without heating. So I'll just take off the regular hand and replace it with the mitten hand! The skin tone match doesn't really matter since the hand will be hidden under the mitten anyway.

again, scalpers operate on a quick-cash basis. DO NOT GIVE THEM THE CASH. not until they lower their prices to retail or DAMN NEAR retail price. bratz community did it, WE CAN TOO

worst case scenario, everyone waits it out, stalks the listings for prices lowering and buys when the prices have hit retail (or lower tbh). best case scenario, they all make massive returns to mattel and mattel has no choice, but to do another drop to get rid of the inventory and everyone can get another chance at getting this set

just PLEASE DON’T BUY FROM SCALPERS IMMEDIATELY AFTER RELEASE
