As for Sal himself, heโs a pretty typical case of ODD. He was always in trouble in school. Fighting, insulting teachers, he had zero chill in school. As a real little kid, his teachers said he was โsweetโ and โliked to learn,โ but things went downhill quick around middle school when he started skipping classes, continuing into high school. He actually had really poor grades. Not a genius like Lanza or anything, he fell off the curve quick, even before the behavioral issues really kicked in. You can see a total switch flip, though. In high school he gets way more violent, stops trying. He has some friends, not as isolated as others, and jokes around with them. Heโs a little like Eric, with his friends heโll have fun and laugh and indulge in a little dark humor, but the second you piss him offโฆ he once picked up a kid and dropped him. He mostly got bullied (starting around middle school) for not being rich, a product of his district, and for being in special ed because he wasnโt doing his work and missed 161 days of one year. He had a girlfriend and friends and a job, but he started turning into the stereotype about a year before the attack. He got quiet, started wearing hoods, his coworkers started to get concerned, what started as a โyou look like a shooter hahaโ joke turned way too real. After he broke up with his girlfriend, he took a hard right into the stereotype. All black, combat boots, trench coat mafia style. And this man lives in the south. He lives in the fucking south and starts clomping around in combat boots. He stopped talking to people after he left school and lost his relationship. Started keeping to himself and spending a lot of time online, got a big head about his small online following, played a lot of COD, and spent a ton of time online WPD and other gore sites. Heโs just like us fr. You could meet him in a COD lobby with his edgelord username, or you could meet him at work, but youโre probably not going to meet him in school, because heโs just never there. During the year or so before the attack, he got into guns, too. Just picture what everyone thinks we are. Thatโs him. He was an online edgelord and would pretend to be cooler and scarier than he was (soโฆ everyone here) and got into school shootings. Heโs the only guy that had everyone pointing at him going โschool shooter. Right there. Thatโs him.โ and no response from any authorities. He felt isolated at the end, like he didnโt fit in with anyone except some folks he knew online. He was also suicidal. Sal is just the most stereotypical case of a shooter ever. The kind of edgelord you could find six of on here without even trying, except he made it real.
