izzy stupid?

on saturdays a lot of them have little magazines and shit that go inside and are delivered in a separate bundle so that’s most of what i do saturday mornings, gp through these awful newspapers one by one and tuck a thing inside, some papers have 2 things and one of the ones that has 2 occasionally has a 3rd one.

i’m doing so i’m stared in the face by some of the most repulsive headlines on the from page. a couple years ago they had a quote from kaitlyn jenner saying “trans women are not women” like that was the fucking headline in giant text on the front cover of ~80 copies of the daily mail i had to go through one by one to stick a weekend magazine inside.

course i start this 30 minutes before the store opens but it takes me 1h 30m to 2h to get through everything so i have to keep getting interrupted by people coming in, standing at the shelves for 5 minutes before coming to me obviously sorting newspapers right next to it and then finally actually asking where the daily mail is so oh i can be like here i’ll stop what i’m doing and put together your newspaper that says i should kill myself on the front have a good day, thanks for shopping at [major british supermarket chain i work for]
