I am a porn creator who considers porn & sex a significant part of my artistic expression. when I say I'm not bothered by seeing porn on dash, I mean ideally I would be seeing much more of it from real people. but even if this wasn't the case, I consider the naked body a neutral object to look at - it doesn't disturb me and I am concerned at the amount of people who seem disturbed at seeing any amount of nudity on their screen.

so let me be more explicit. the problem with the porn ads is not the porn, it's the ads. it's the fact that advertisers can post things that users can't. it's the inability to filter out the content because it is an ad and is not beholden to the same TOS or labelling rules as users are. it's the fact that many of the ads are for AI services, showing AI generated skinny white women (further pushing the needle on the extreme fascistic, white supremacist body image issues people are developing) in lieu of paying real life sex workers.

All of which are awful, nobody deserves to be on the receiving end of racial slurs. Ever.

And very clear that those defending him are choosing to be against ableism more than against racism. How would it have felt to the two men on stage who were called the n word (on film for posterity) whilst at an award show for a film that is at heart about racism and oppression against black people? How would it have felt to all the black people also there for the same reason seeing that happen, who out of ‘professionalism’ would have had to swallow that violence for the rest of the night in the physical context of many powerful white people? How would it feel for black people becoming aware of this now and seeing so many RUSH to the defence of the disabled person?

It’s also unfair to claim that this was some unearthed belief that ‘couldn’t be random.’ It falls into the toxic idea that mental/neurological disorders lay bare what someone ‘really thinks.’

It is a shit situation. Shit situations happen. And it’s been made worse by the media not editing/bleeping around it and allowing it to fuel public discourse with zero nuance.

It appears that the protestor had been wrestled to the ground by about six ICE agents when agents began shooting at them. From the sound of the video, about twelve gunshots were fired at the prone man's chest.

This comes weeks after an ICE agent shot and killed Renee Good. The Trump Administration has since stopped any investigation into the responsible agent, and started one into Good's widow.
