Posted up chapter 2 of my story Outcaste: The Giant of Trinima on Tapas. I hope you’ll take time to read and follow. The heavy word restrictions on Tapas mean I have to post it in only 15k character limits but it usually means that the chapters have to be broken down into parts. I saw these stat sheets on @gemsona-hq and I figured I’d give it a try with a few of the OC gems I’ve made over the years. I don’t think people would be interested but I figured I’d put Big Red Cuprite forward to start with - a huge fusion of four gems all piled together in a giant bundle of love, hugs and bad influences. She loves pretty much everyone, though prefers not to fight if she can help it. 

“I was to make her smile, to ease her pain, but failed at every turn. Now I sit in bars that are real, not imagined, as a small clown in a tiny blue cage.”  Tried my hand at a Spinel OC, but for Blue’s Court post Pink’s alleged Death. Unfortunately her attempts to cheer Blue failed time after time, and thus was thrown into a cell and left to rot. She’ll eventually escape, but I figured I’d show you where she started from.   

In case anyone wants to see all of them at once, no matter how impossible that might be. 

The last of my protagonists, Miasma, who ironically is earliest in the timeline. They do not consider themselves a gender, nor have any romantic or sexual feelings (hence the proposed “Triple A” flag of Agendered Aro Ace) however that won’t stop them from achieving what they will, even bound in gold and forced to be a physical shame by their so-called peers.   Now add all the messages together, and see what they think.

A sketch for my friend @superiordutchsauce in regards to a conversation we had about Pokemon trying to take a language test. Some are better at it than others (even though they’re smart enough for it)...while some just are no good at any of it at all. I’m looking at you Vespiquen and Eldegoss. 

Day 4 of 5 of my pride pictures. Here we have an old favourite of mine, Lynda Marker of my Outcaste book series (found here: https://tapas.io/episode/1691619) wearing her uniform from later in the story, showing who she loves and how she loves them. I tried a new way of drawing her and I think it’s worked, for the most part. I love this giant, and would do everything I can to help people love her too! 

The third of my five Pride pictures, where the ancient warrior of the Golden Rose Army Hei Wu is showing her support for the other protagonists.  I know some people may have issue with the inclusion of the Ally flag into this collection, but there are a few reasons for it in this case; firstly the character’s story isn’t about sexuality but mental health and I did not want to conflate alternative gender identities or sexuality as some form of mental illness as this has been done in the past and it is not only insulting and marginalising but also muddies the discussion which only helps the bigots. Secondly it’s to show that allies should be proud that they support what is right and decent, and not afraid to stand with their comrades; after all it is not their fight, but they’ll follow and fight it anyway. Thirdly it’s to shut up people who try to police their straight friends into not aiding the community because they feel that it’s somehow “wrong” or “weird” to love or support the LGBTQ+ community, and that it’s also okay and right to support them regardless of where you might stand on the spectrum because they deserve decency and inclusion into society.  After all love is love, and love is the most beautiful thing in this world. Everyone deserves it.
