There's also a brief interlude of "cave-dwelling cottage-core baby-raising fugitive" in which he plants a toddler in the ground adorably, calls him a radish, and says he wants to give him many siblings. He also canonically notes that he wants a little one with his husband at the end of the novel. This is after they separately adopt the same child (that's a long story, you should read MDZS if you haven't already!!)
