“English is not my first language” then proceeds to write the best masterpiece known to mankind
I won't call what I write a masterpiece, but I sure become obsessed in making sure there are no typos or that my ideas are understood.
Writing in your second language is quite the adrenaline rush sometimes. You always found out more ways to rewrite and edit your stuff the more you reread them.
And before you know it, BANG, you are stuck in editing hell :(
This is why I'm greatful of people liking my writings. You are all encouraging me to unstuck myself and enjoy, instead of overthinking about my fanfic.

As someone who's only started writing in English at 17, I can feel it. My writing used to be absolute garbage before I fully embraced the language and all its hues, and it's still difficult sometimes either way. (In 2024 I still pronounced "girth" with a soft g. Yea.)
Right now, if I do find weird typos I always think to myself "MY PROGRESS CANNOT BE TAINTED" and proceed to update

So I can't BELIEVE this never occurred to me or anyone else. So when two cybertronians become conjux, they exchange metals, taking apart one piece of their armour to meld it into something for their conjux, or formally exchange vials of their innermost energon...but when cybertronians and their humans fall in love and want to become conjux or married in human terms...
And of course, he or she, depending on who you end up with, secretly feels saddened that you two can do that, after all, he can't ask you to slice a piece of your skin, or he can't inject his energon into you as it would be poisonous...
You also would feel sad about it, wanting to include his rituals, but then you had a crazy idea and decided to surprise him/her on your wedding day or anniversary with...

I think a lot of mech and femmes would worry about our hair, asking if it hurts if we cut it or if they KNOW their human hair worked hard to have it long...but give it away for them to show them how much you love them...

I started working out my glutes a few months earlier and progress is a bit erratic due to my very strict schedule, but it's there. Turns out, it's a lot more comfortable to sit now. Literally it feels like I'm sitting on a pillow all the time. Totally recommend

Ramblements
You know it's really fun and interesting to study what I'm studying, and it would be even better if I wasn't on a time schedule. At the very least, the cardio-endo exam is in about a week which gives me plenty of time to review and also, I won't have to stress anymore over this shite (despite the ever-present illusion of needing more and more time). At the end of the day, I'll make it. I always do. I just wish I didn't have to pause my hobbies in the meantime but eh medschool is what it is, I consider myself lucky enough to be able to balance friendships/relationships, studying, and this blog.
I have some very fun ideas regarding posts which I've been saving up, plus more creative outbursts for HFAW ch.7. A person on AO3 was worried I was going to abandon the fic given I haven't updated in more than two months, which both made me elated to be kept in such high regards, but also made me heartsick and feeling genuinely guilty. AO3 is not as dynamic as tumblr so there's not much space for life updates and so, which means most of the readers there are kept in the dark.
However, I know my drill and I know I'll get back to writing as soon as I'm done with the exam. I miss my bugs and I have so much planned for them outside of the fic itself (namely, the other post ideas I've mentioned). For now, I'll randomly update pics of cool irl bugs I find :)
I often find studying relaxing, like journaling. Plus, the printing shop I've had my notes printed at uses really high quality paper (for a good price!) so it's super pleasant to see the highlighter glide through :)) Days go by on their own and I find myself pulling through hours and hours of studying without even realizing, then at the end of the day I use the little strength I have to connect with friends and just chill. Writing takes a lot of brainpower as you all know, so for now it's a no no.
However, it's fun to adapt it to things I'm brainstorming. I'll definitely make more science headcanons for you to enjoy!

Hello, this may be a silly thought of mine, but in your au does seekers have retractable claws?
Yup! I have drawn them with that in mind before, but I’ve never really talked about it, they can transform the tips of their digits into claws.
New addition to this hc that I recently adopted from a fic, for the first vorn of their life seekerlings can’t retract their claws. They’re always out to better cling to creators, or as a small defense used last case scenario. They don’t look like much but they’re really sharp.
