In a huge step for elephant conservation, the UK is introducing one of the world’s toughest ivory bans, China has completely banned ivory sales, closing the world’s largest domestic ivory market and Hong Kong and Taiwan are strengthening their own bans. Meanwhile, the United States is taking a step backwards, to ease the import of so called “elephant trophies.” Musician Dave Matthews along with organizations like Conservation International are taking a stand for elephants and for the communities protecting them and you can join us in making an IMPACT.  I am honored to have made a film with Dave at the Reteti Elephant Sanctuary in Kenya, the very first community-owned and run elephant sanctuary in all of Africa.
