the idea that every summer will be as hot if not hotter than this for the rest of my life is unbearable i need to (remembers suicide jokes are bad for my mental health) murder an oil executive

the point is that i know that my long hair and my clothing choices as a goth makes it actively harder for me to pass as a man but i wouldn't trade either for that

like. i've had cis people ask me why i didn't choose a more "normal" name (my full name is a somewhat obscure/archaic Italian name) and struggle to gender me correctly since my hair was visibly grown out etc. but the answer is literally. it makes me happy and i'm transitioning and doing adjacent things for myself mostly for that purpose now

& y'know this is the energy i wanna leave pride month and enter disability month with. do whatever makes you happy and/or more comfortable. it doesn't have to make sense to anyone but you 🌈
