decided to rewatch the first few seasons of twd for some godforsaken reason and i’m on a bethyl CRASHOUT rn like they couldn’t give daryl one fucking thing. AND her death was so fucking pointless the whole hospital arc was a waste of time. it was bad writing beth should’ve have lived and we should’ve have gotten more of her and daryl. fuck the walking dead i hate this show

no bc felt. after the prison/on the road arc it was never the same for me. the back half of the show suffered from having too many characters and i never cared for the new ones as much as i did for the OG Atlanta group.

Do you ever think that Daryl couldn't eat meat after his stint with the Saviours, because it always reminds him of the dog food?

I was sitting in my psychology class and we're talking about classical conditioning and taste aversion is one of the things that comes easiest in teaching people things to do and not to do, same with in animals (if it tastes bad, smells bad, looks bad you aren't likely to eat it). Because it's a stimulus generalization which doesn't take any sort of conditioning, if it happens once, that's it. You're not likely to ever come back from that without therapy

And Daryl isn't going to get that, he would just have to force himself to eat it, even if it's actually prepared in a really good meal he wouldn't be able to eat it without thinkingof the dog food and he wouldn't be able to undo that conditioning that reminds him of the flavour.
