i do not want to write x reader because in doing so, i would have to put myself in the shoes of a 12 y/o girl dating a 12 y/o boy.

meaning that i would have to put myself in the shoes of dating a 12-year-old boy.

i do not want to do this because of the fact that i am 18 and i don't want to imagine that kind of a situation because i find it uncomfortable as hell

the second hc you pointed out to me was from a post (from not even an hour ago) about 90s jack. he is so different from the book, that i consider him a completely separate character, and he is 16 years old in the film. this is only two years younger than me, and even then I didn't branch into any romance because i still find that odd.

and also do you forget that puppy love can exist? nothing about what i sqid was romanticised/sexualised, and at the end of the day they were very SMALL ideas that didn't even branch into romance whatsoever, rather that they branched into how they take rejection/their attitudes towards women.

they were focusing on the character they were just two headcanons meant to emphasise their ability to take rejection, their attitudes towards women etc.
