What if I told you that in not liking a thing, you could let go of the need to justify why the thing is bad? You can not like a thing and it can not be personal. You can not like a thing and it can just be a thing you don't like. You can not like a thing, be disappointed by a thing, and not dig through tweets and interviews and ✨cLuEs✨ and just. Not like it. What if I told you you could not like a thing and also not invent conspiracy theory level excuses as to why that thing obviously is bad? What if I told you other people liking the thing you don't like is not personal? That you are allowed to like different things. That you don't have to ruin the enjoyment for folks who did, actually, like the the thing in order for you to not like the thing?

What if that was a thing I told you you could do?

What if you allowed yourself the grace to accept a thing you thought was good did not meet your expectations, and you thanked it for the good things it gave you, and let your anger go?
