Caine in the Void was honestly one of my favorite moments in the entire show like . Just seeing him slowly figure things out- failing, testing, trying again, over and over he kept moving forward learning how to be better, and him realizing he fucked up and wants to try a better way to get their trust back and become more human like he wanted and he chose to apologize and as a sign of change he showed them their human lives, their names , they achieved dreams and left their mark in the world, he showed them that and they all got more comfortable around him like he dreamed of, And he sets his other half free with genuine feeling he was gonna miss it, but knew they couldn’t exist as one anymore and it was for the best.
Say what you will about the final but Caines ending as a character and as a story was chefs kiss perfect.
