fact of the matter is: even while skwisgaar can be charming with the ladies, his fame and looks really gets him laid a lot more than his personality. his attitude is inconsistent over time (making it hard to get along with him/trust him), he can be flippant, standoffish and neurotic, and is incredibly self-absorbed. people like to hear his accent, but they don’t really care what he has to say most of the time. more reasons why skwisgaar hides how smart he is (/isn’t super conscious of how smart he can be in terms of literature, mythology and philosophy).

back when he was on his own / traveling between bands, he could get by crashing on the couches of people he messed around with just barely, and usually got kicked out for his personality after a while.

He’s just, so hard to get along with.

That wasn’t a direct answer. Willow screwed up her nose a bit in reflection of her allies own expression, shoulders drooping in her usual meek slouch, ❝ Oh. Okay. ❞ Would she never delight in the artistic expression of personal adornment ? Likely not. Her master would disapprove. But it did not curb her curiosity for the strange baubles her senior regularly adorned herself in.

Shadow didn’t like how passive these warriors were. Could they never be forward ? Being stuck with them was her duty but... she never had to clean up more than her own bloodstains across the marble floors back at the lair. All this pushing around dirt like it mattered, they were almost worse than Master in that regard.

But her cover colored her as someone who knew how to work hard. And she certainly did. Hard work and toil, now for the greater good. No matter how nonsensical.

❝ How is it that the Dragons of Wind and Water have excused themselves from cleaning ? ❞ Those two irked her. For separate reasons, ❝ I assumed it was YOUR task alone.
