My favourite is the hunt because I enjoy the wolf and more feral imagery but no, I don’t think so.

Buried and corruption could maybe match as they’re some of the things that have freaked me out the most. (See post about me picking a fly out of my eye) and being buried alive is my worst idea of how to die.

But then it hit me.

I work in a fucking hotel. A big corporate hotel where all the hallways look the same with long stretching hallways that had motion activated lights so sometimes they’re pitch black.

It’s really easy to get disoriented when coming out of rooms if you’ve been in there for a while

additionally, have you considered the inherent isolation of working in an environment that is filled with people, but where those people are inherently transient, and thus being uniquely unable to form true connections in that environment as everyone else around you approaches their experience of the environment completely differently?

also also, have you considered the dehumanizing nature of working in hospitality and any form of customer service, as your personhood is systemically and institutionally devalued under your utility and likeability to other people? (you can probably tell I have also worked at a hotel before and have Feelings about it)

- spiders

- falling into a coma/near brushes with death

- clowns that are also plastic that kill their dad cuz the dad in question was very boring
