Question
"Anarcho-Communism isn't practical or realistic."
What is your reaction to that statement?
That it's correct, based on the historical failing of these societies based on Anarcho-Communism, either being destroyed during the very early revolutionary stage (revolution with one state where there is no dominant revolutionary group) or it becomes a syndicalist semi-state, defeating its goal of immediate transition into communism.
firstly this is unhistorical and lacks knowledge on what a "state" is relating to anarchism
The Syndicalist of the CNT-FAI wanted to make a society based in workers associations and unions with bottom up governing structures and direct democracy, they succeed in this measure for the most part
secondly what do you say to the modern Anarchist Communist territories that exist? That of Rojava and The Zapatista Territories (EZLN)?
Rojava has existed since 2012 and has made significant progress in maintaining bottom up community structures, direct democracy, libertarian socialism, and progressive action
and the EZLN has existed since 1994 and had completely abolished private property, and has made significant progress in maintaining its direct democracy, bottom up governing, while being invaded by the Mexican government
from my point of view, these anarcho communist territories have done more to achieve communism than any supposedly "communist" countries
this person blocked me btw lol
peak of ML anti intellectualism and saying "LALALALALA" while covering their ears when faced with a argument based in actual historical events and reason
