Over the past few months I have been receiving many comments on my fanfics that feel like written by an school teacher who wants me to analyze my own damn fic to them like im back in middleschool or something.

They are like," It's beautiful how you handle those topics of love and trauma with such care, what has inspired you and what fules you to write it in such a sweat way," (now take away any soul from it because I can't write so soulessly as those comments)

They are always left as an guest account and if I were to anwser them they would say," Omg, its so sweet of you to reply to little old me. Actually I have a question to you, do you have discord were we could chat?"

The first time it happened I gave them my insta and they dared to say that they loved my fics and wanted to do fanart of them but BUT i need to pay them for it because "Sweetheart my time needs to be paid," HMM...WHAT A NICE THING TO SAY TO A FANFIC WRITER WHO SPENDS DOZENS AND DOZENS OF HOURS PER CHAPTER FOR JUST PURE PASSION AND PROBABLY SOME MENTAL ILLNESS. We do this for free and love every damn second if it! If you are a true nerd who loves fanfic and fanart culture you will put time and effort into it just because you love it.

After that one time I have never replied to them again.

It just feels so disrespectful. Not only are they trying to scam us but they also uplode our fics to chatgpt because there is no way that they are actually reading our fics, they ask AI to make a summary and then ask it to come up with a souless and disgusting comment.

Even if it wasn't a scam, I feel like this is so out of what fandom and fan created art culture is about. Its not about making money (lets be honest it kinda can't be because of the copyright laws that can suvk at times) its about the fandom spirit and the love of the game. If I want someone to make fanart of my fic I will find an artist that I love and pay them for a style im sure to like, it's insane to think that someone could have the audacity to just dm someone and say I like your stuff, now pay me!

Comments are so special to us and its so disappointing to see that someone has left you one only to see that its that 'I love your fic' chatgpt scam.

Has anyone else also received them or am I just been put on some kind of list for my anti-generative AI mindset?

Originally she didn't have a curse. She was having nightmares about the owlbest because it was trying to kill her and she is a five year old whoes mother turned into a monster and hunted her down the house trying to eat her. Her having nightmares about it felt like something that would happen so I added it, it was never because of the curse

For a fanfic I have been thinking about Hunter and how old that boy actually is. We know that mentaly and physically he is 16 but is it really his age?

In the episode 'for the future' we see Belos posessing one of the 'under cooked' grimwalkers and this grimwalker wasn't a baby or a toddler or even a young kid but full adult or a teen at best. So I feel like this is confirmation that Hunter has never been a 'young kid' but was 'born' already in a body and with a mind of a teen (I also really can not see Belos wanting to deal with a young kid or a baby so).

Is Hunter actually like 5 or so years old?

I never got the feeling like he has any memories from the time before starting the Coven training and he knows only what Belos told him so it makes sense that he is actually been alive for much less than it looks like.

Also what the damn did Belos say to all the people who knew the old golden guard??? People like Darius and probably many others know that the old one died/went missing, so how did it go when Belos brought Hunter into the castle and what did he say to them?

'Hey, so my nephew died, really really sad, anyway here is my...other nephew...' points to like 12 year old Hunter,' He...he is a long lost...nephew?'

Like really, how it took this long for people to find out that Hunter is a grimwalker or did they know and Hunter himself was legit the only one who didn't?
