The whole reason I wanted the entire science to team to die isn’t just because 23 Eridians would be a lot to keep up with, and it’s not just for the angst either, but I wanted a reason for the Blip-A to still be around Tau-Ceti when Grace arrives. Rocky was there for DECADES beforehand, but with a complete ship of super genius’ they’d probably be there for a couple of earth months maximum.

But take away their science team, even with Eridians being so smart I feel like they’d just be sitting ducks. Which is where Grace who smart scientist space blob comes in.
