Engineer bodypillow besign 4 the birthday of my bestest buddy, the beguiling @zorrapik ššššššš
manbooby therapy
"Ah know we've had alot on our plate Sugar... and ah hate to bring up another thing for us to worry about." Taurie said, rubbing the back of his neck. Since getting hitched with the Texan Taurie felt like he'd scarcely stopped smiling, never once regretting his decision.
He had been putting something off though... and with his last letter from home it felt like it couldn't be put off much longer.
"When uh... do ya think we should tell mah family? About us ah mean? Ma's been askin' for me to come back for a visit..."
āā¦.ā Dell put down the newspaper he was reading, brows furrowed and a small frown of deep contemplation on his face. āHow old are your parents again?ā Dell eventually asked though he knew waiting until Taurieās dad died wasnāt the best plan. He remembers hearing women usually lived longer than men, but his mom was an exemption to that rule and Taurieās might be too and Dell didnāt want to risk losing the chance to have one mom who accepted his life choices, or at least got the chance to.
Plus the cousin was young so he wasnāt going nowhere⦠unless⦠Nope. Dell knew murder was still off the table.
Dell leaned his head into the rubs like an affectionate kitten, grinning ear to ear as he squinted over at Taurie through the summer sun. āWell, if itās just us here donāt see why we gotta have all our manners minded.ā He teased, as he slowly was becoming more comfortable with outdoor tussles.
āNot now though, too damn hot for somethinā like that.ā Tilting his head up he kissed Taurieās palm before sitting up and starting to unlace his boots, pulling them and his socks off before pushing up to his feet and continuing to peel off the rest of his clothes until he was left in his briefs, the outline of the goods more noticeable with how his damp skin clung to them. He was sure the water was fine, but in case of leaches he figured heād want some coverage.
Turning heād help Taurie up if he wasnāt already then turned to step out onto the old little dock, the wood creaking under his weight but it seemed sturdy.
āYou know, canāt remember the last time I went swimming like this before you.ā He said, looking out at the water, standing out in the edge of the dock, hands on hips and unaware.
Dell was flushed and grinning as he watched Taurie fan himself and look him over, giving a little laugh he flexed for the cowman a little before continuing to undress. āProbably sit at my desk working making trouble and wishing I had someone share it- AH DAM-ā
He cut off as he suddenly found himself bumped out off the dock, Tauire able to shove him an impressive amount out and there was a good moment of floundering before his shiny bald head surfaced his face red and a scowl baring his teeth.
āOh youāre going to get it now pumpkin!ā Dell hollered as he grabbed the pull chain on his gunslinger and yanked, his scowl turning to a grin as his hand began to spin wildly in the water, sending large splashes over to soak Tauire up ok the sock.
Dell seemed to have miscalculated the power of his water attack, for a moment he stared in shock at the lake monster of a cowman Taurie had become before snapping out of it. āHeck ya ok there pumpkin? Shoot I didnāt think itād bring the whole lake down on ya!ā Worriedly Dell swam over, helping to clean off Tauire if heād let him, the gunslinger powered down.
āI aināt smart none, in fact Iām a little impressed. Seemed ya fixed up my gunslinger a little too well.ā He teased, holding back to Taurie as his loverās arms wrapped around, paying no mind to the algae that met his touch.
āHmn, guess that was my bad.ā He agreed with a chuckle as Taurie spoke of temptation, glad Taurie didnāt seemed miffed about his mess up too.
āYa kiddinā me? Course Iām gonna keep ya! If loosinā ya donāt kill me Iām sure yer Ma nā Pa would string me up for breakinā your heart.ā He teased before his jovial smile when soft, his flesh hand coming to pick some more seaweed out of Taurieās hair. āNot a single thing you can do to keep me from lovinā ya pumpkin. Iām in too deep.ā He whispered, hoping Tauire believed him.
Dell chuckled at Taurieās mutterings, having shared his thoughts but chose not to speak them.
āAlmost scary aināt it? Makes me worried what my old heart might do come our weddinā day.ā He sighed, resting his head against Taurie as he looked up at the sweet summer sky. āHard to imagine lovinā ya anymore than I do.ā āYeah⦠we stay in the water any longer and weāll be more wine than raisin.ā He sighed looking at the pruney fingers of his flesh hand.
Swimming them back to shore he snorted as they stepped out and he pulled a few strands of algae from his gunslinger. āYep, showers definitely in order⦠think that shower can fit too or?ā He wouldnāt blame Taurie if showering with him in that house was too much, but truth be told he was a little nervous of being away from Tauire near *insert name of Dad*. That magnet trick had been a nasty surprise and he wasnāt looking for another.
Arm around Taurie they made there way back to the house.

The firm grip was returned with a squeeze as the two walked side by side, growing tighter as Dell explained what had happened. Taurie looked down at his boots, watching the small puffs of dust that erupted with each step and sighed. A hand subconsciously came up to scratch at the base of one horn.
"Heh... like ah ain't tried that before. Guess it was too much to hope he'd take it as well as Ma."
Taurie paused in the shade of a tree, turning to face his husband with a smile, though his eyes held a hint of concern.
"Long as he ain't hurtin' ya let him fume, n'let me deal with any other 'conversations' he wants to have." He said, giving Dell's shoulder a squeeze before lightly bumping their foreheads together.
"C'mon, think we've earned some time to relax, don't you? Little swimmin hole back a few acres... and ah brought a lil somethin' to scan for any cold blooded critters."
He was not getting humiliated by his fear of snakes this time.
āYa sure? Yeah he pisses me off but Iām fine being the buffer if it keeps him off your ass.ā His offer came easy enough when Taurie bumped him, the little affectionate nudge knocking all his frustration away to make room for the overflowing love he carried for his dear Taurie.
āThat does sound nice.ā After all the attention they got their last lake trip around here Dell would rather they relax in the privacy of Taurieās estate.
āWould like to check on that heifer we helped birth at some point though.ā He knew being with all those penned cows made Taurie uncomfortable, so he would understand if it was something Taurie wanted him to do alone.
Dell was happy to hold Taurie close as they made their way to the barn, but he was equally as happy to see they wouldnāt have to enter.
Saddling up next to Taurie, Dell leaned forwards and squinted out across the field trying to spot their little calf but most where huddled up and he had trouble making heads from tails.
He would have probably spotted her when Taurie lowed and they all stood at attention, but his eyes had also gone to his lover, a little surprised to hear him low in such an open location, the noise making a knee-jerk jolt of worry go through him, but the anxiousness quickly evened out into a soft smile as he watched Taurie point their girl out, his eyes following his loverās finger to those sweet big brown eyes and adorable pink snoot.
āYeah! Thatās her alright.ā Dell confirmed excitedly as he recognizing the mark as well, his heart swelling as he saw how big sheās gotten. āAlmost all grown up.ā He agreed in a soft whisper, still smiling but there was a somberness to his tone.
Whatever was on his mind seems to leave in blink however as he laughed at Taurieās suggestion, already halfway over the fence. āIg you donāt think Iāll be stepping on anyoneās tailā¦ā
Dell offered his hand to help Taurie down from the fence. He knew perfectly well the man wasnāt that old, but he loved to be a gentlemen for his pumpkin whenever given a chance.
As Taurie coaxed the little calf over Dell was all smiles, laughing softly as the girl tried to nip at his glove. āHey now not you too! Swear everyone around here trying to break my arm.ā He joked, moving his hand from being nibbled on to petting behind her ears.
āYeah⦠but we might have the simple life one day. Just you and me settled down somewhere niceā¦ā there was that slight edge of sorrow again, his smile bitter sweet until Tauire leaned over and whatever was weighing on him left.
Turning his head he kisses Taurieās forehead, careful to avoid the horns. āThink I got a good any if itās anything how I feel. Got the whole world in my armā Heād boast as he wrapped his arm around his loverās shoulders and hugged him close, lovingly staring over at his pumpkin.
A loud moo pulled his attention away after a moment, and he laughed turning over to the calf. āThink weāre being too lovely dovey for her. Alright pumpkin, letās head on to the lake.ā
āLooks cozy. Canāt wait to get out of the s-ā Dell cut off and moved back a little as he watched Taurie buck, not pulling away but giving him room to move about without knocking him, his face confused for a moment before coming to mirror Taurieās as he grinned and his cheeks flushed, the man too cute for him not to blush with how horribly he wanted to kiss him.
āNo complaints here.ā Dell laughed in agreement as he brought his arms up to wrap around his loverās neck, another loud bark of laugher coming and silenced as Taurie pulled him in close for a kiss he eagerly pressed into. Before he had been settling himself in for a rough week, but seeing Taurie so happy that he couldnāt control his bovine⦠Taurie and that smile could make a walk through hell look like paradise with that smile.
āEasy pumpkin! Donāt got my hardhat!ā Dell called through more laughter as he was knocked back, thankfully landing back on his on his forearms as he watched the man buck about with an adoring smile, his icy blue eyes twinkling in the sun like the clear water as he took in the light of his life.
āLove you so much.ā Was all Dell would say as he laid back against the ground and his hands grabbed for Taurieās shoulders. Patiently he waited for Taurie to calm and give him an opening for another kiss. If the man wasnāt so squirmy heād be wrapping him up tight in a hug, wanting to squeeze his love into the man as he fawned over how lucky he was and how cute his pumpkin was.
