Fluff, a little crying, la squadra dads just trying their best
When you are part of the mafia, it is unacceptable for you to get sick. None of your illness is your excuse, so it is preferable not to be ill at all. The members of La Squadra learned this the hard way long ago, but there is one exception-
“Achoo” Risotto heard from your room and immediately tensed up. It wasn’t uncommon for children your age to be sick so often, especially in winter, but it was the third time this month. And Prosciutto told you to dress warmer. Anyway capo needs to check up on you.
“Y/N, are you ok?” Risotto knocked on the door of your room before coming in. You looked sick, runny nose, red eyes, a lot of tissues next to your bed. The man will not be surprised if you have a fever. He approaches you to to check himself, putting a hand to your forehead. Yeah, you absolutely had a fever.
“I think I’m sick again” you just acknowledged with your hoarse voice. In fact, you hardly even slept that night. Your head ached excruciatingly and the room seemed unbearably hot. Only in the early morning you were able to take at least a little nap. Yeah, you look exhausted.
Risotto just sighed at you response, patting your head, “Just get some rest, I'll tell Melone to make you something to eat”.
“They’ve got sick, aren’t they”, you saw Illuso leaning on the door frame, looking at you with seriously.
“Wait, what? My baby is sick?”, Formaggio literally ran into your room after hearing Illuso's words, worry in his voice, “I’ll bring you more blankets, and don’t you dare to get up from bed” he ran out of the room just as quickly. You see, when you were sick, Formaggio always worried about you the most, always trying to spend the whole day with you, reading you something or telling you funny stories. He even sometimes brought his cats to keep you company.
Well, Prosciutto always was against bringing pets in your room, but whatever makes you happy. Speaking about Prosciutto..
“Oh no, thanks Prosciutto, I don’t need an extra sweater to go outside, I won’t get sick”, you heard Prosciutto mocking your voice with slightly annoyance “And if you had listened to me, none of this would have happened”, you started shaking, thinking the blond man was mad at you.
“I’m sorry, Prosciutto..” you replied, tears started to form in your eyes, “I didn't do it on purpose”, you didn't want to cause problems for any of the team members and sometimes you felt like a burden because of it.
“Hey, why are they crying? What have you done Prosciutto?”, Ghiaccio scoffed at him, trying to speak more quietly so as not to make you cry even more.
“What?” Prosciutto sighed, rubbing the back of his head “Look, Y/N, it’s fine to get sick, don’t worry” his hard look changed at softer one, “I’m going to grab you some things, Pesci, let’s go” with these words he left your room, Peshi just smiled at you and followed the older man.
Risotto patted your head again, “Try to sleep, okay?”, with that he covered you with blanket that Formaggio brought for you.
“Can you stay with me?” you asked shyly.
“Sure”, Risotto sat next to you more comfortably “We all be here as long as you need”.
Well, being sick is not a pleasant experience, but with your family by your side it’s not that bad actually.
