This one is a children book illustration project when I was in college. I love it, because this one I put maximum effort to make the detail of the rice field, and I was trying a new style of illustration. So it’s new exploration for me. I’d love to draw more children book illustration.

Most of the vector object I made were for videos, but this time I made it for info-graphics poster. As you can see, the title is Hydrogen e-car so yep, it’s about a pilot project to make a Hydrogen e-car. The purpose of the poster is for presentation about the project, because it was a kind of college competition. I made it for my friend’s team.

It’s in bahasa, so you probably don’t understand. But I hope you can get some of it from the image.

So I really love Studio Ghibli’s movies...and yes, as you can see, Chihiro is my favorite character because Spirited Away is the first movie from Ghibli that I watched. And yes! I also love J.K. Rowling magical world. I really wished I could get invitation from Hogwarts. But for now, I imagine my favorite characters going to Hogwarts. Chihiro will be in Griffindor. Kiki will be in Ravenclaw. Sheeta will be in Hufflepuff... i don’t know yet who will be in Slytherin, so I haven’t draw it. Haha

Still a motion graphics video that I made when I was still in Amphibi Studio Bandung. Personally, this one is my favorite, because of the animation style. The hands though, remind me of The Adventure Time’s character, and the story line is kind a funny.

It’s in bahasa, so you may not understand. It’s an advertisement for an application called APPSTERIZE; it’s an application to manage your social media. In chase you are an artist, artist manager, vendor, or online seller, who has a lot of social media, you might need one to manage all your social media in one application. The story goes like this: the chaos of an artist and vendor in managing social media, they have to answer the fans and confirm every schedule, performance, or concert, while still doing fan service, or doing real-time social media mambo-jambo, and soooo... the application shows up as the solution for the chaos.

I made all the assets for the video, but the storyboard was made by the art director. I’m animating it as well, using Adobe After Effects. Video editing using Adobe Premiere.

Yeay! This is my first “big” project when I was still a fresh graduate! Because I made the assets and edit the animation, as well as the video editing alone (under supervision of course). The company where I worked trust me to make the storyboard as well. 

I’ve got some help from an internship student though, but she was left before the project finished, so she made few part of the assets. It’s okay. No big deal.

Of course if I look at it now, I want to fix some part here and there. The animation could be smoother, the assets could be cuter. But, remembering the “me” when I was making this video, I’m kind a proud of myself (*patting myself in the shoulder*), because at the time I think the video is good! And I can see my self growing better from there until now. 

Assets made using Adobe Illustrator. Animating using Adobe After Effects. Video editing using Premiere. I didn’t make the music for the video. I was a soundtrack for an animation project by KPK, so the music is given already by the client.

It’s animation about anti-corruption practice since you are kids. Great message!

This one, by far *yet*, the longest video I’ve ever edited (with the most assets too, I guess). A bit complicated for me, at the time, I think it was 2015. Because, I was still not used to 3D/camera effects in the After effects. But it was worth it, I’ve upgraded myself. 

The video was made for the purpose of an application launching by the government; used in presentation. I didn’t watch when it was presented though.

The assets for this video was made by me and one of my co-worker (because it’s sooooo a lot). So it’s about 50:50. (Again, the deadline was tight at the time).

We also divide the animator job-desk. About a half or the animation and the final compositing of the animation was made by me, but several sub-animation, was made by my co-worker (the same person who made the assets).

This video I made when I was still working as Motion Graphic Designer in AMPHIBI STUDIO Bandung, Indonesia. 

But I was not only animating for this video, I made several of the assets as well. 50:50 with one of the co-worker. 

It was challenging because the tight deadline, but I managed to finish it in less than a week. For some people it may be not a big deal, but for me, animating for a week is fast, faster than I usually did. So, yeah... I was proud of my self (*patting my self in the shoulder*).

I made video for my friend’s team, to propose a project called Anchors Away! - The purpose is to propose Mooring Buoy Installation.

My friend gave me the content for the video, and some data related to the coral triangle and mooring buoy. I made the storyboard, assets, animation, video editing, and sound by myself. The background music, I used free source sound effect from internet. I make the vector assets by myself with some inspiration from the coral actual shape of course.
