Viral Interventions: Final Artifact
Our final installation definitely sealed our concept concretely. Our original idea was to take the roll, under the assumption that it would be very long, and sort of decorate the walls, ceiling, and floor of the entire corner of the room. We knew from the start that we wanted to create an environment out of our project that would allow for people to see what we collaged together at different angles. Since the wind ripped our piece, we took the longest one and used our original concept to lay the paper along the wall. We used pins to maneuver the paper. The second piece got hung from the ceiling by the same pins. The last piece got hung by fishing line to the ceiling just to create different shapes throughout or presentation.

This project definitely depended a lot on spontaneity and hard work. Nature works in its own ways and I think that even though the wind ripped our paper clean three times, I wouldn’t change it! My partners on this project were phenomenal and so easy to work with, and they made the process of the project all the more enjoyable. We made our concept keeping community in mind, and the final presentation of our project at the park proved to us that humanity is still able to help, sympathize, and come to the rescue with no other intentions. Overall, a great idea, great execution, and great things all along the way!!!!

When something is psychoactive, it requires pressure to change the state of mind: a need for accountability, dignity, and no such things as half-assed eclipses of change,
no excuses, just reality.

Viral Interventions: Final artifact
Materials used: water guns, red paint, water, colored poster boards, xacto knife, and glue.
Dimensions: 24x36 inches
Our final artifact consists of the poster board after we shoot the board with water guns loaded with red colored water. It symbolizes violence and suffering that is heightened during the eclipse, which our sentence entails. To give it more emotion and context, I would make the water more opaque and red so it would dry to look like actual blood and to create a larger piece of art. possibly the size of a mural.
FINAL ARTIFACT:
Our final artifact is the poster board that remains after we shot it with water guns filled with red water. We decided to print out the "logo" on to 20 pieces of paper and somewhat decided to put them up around a shopping center, but we ended up deciding to print out all the figures and put it on a black poster and shoot it with water guns. It represents the violence and agony that our statement implies, which are intensified during the eclipse. I believe we could have come up with something a little more expansive and outside the box, where we could have invited the community to join us and come to the realization that this is something that occurs on a daily basis and that it needs to stop. The gun violence needs to stop.
Materials used: water guns, red paint, water, colored poster boards, xacto knife, and glue.

Statement of Intent:
After the day at Dolphin Mall where the group paraded around, and presented the piece to the public, we were left with a completely different work. The marks left on the piece by the public breathe new life into the work, and not only alter it, but give it new meaning. The marks themselves are evenly spread, with an almost equal amount of people believing the human work was AI and the AI work was human. The majority of people simply gazed over at the piece, and moved on with there life, not wanting to interact with it for their own reasons, some not even understanding English. The relative few people that took the time out of their days to make their mark on the piece. Those marks are now immortalized and show a turning point in art history, the point in which artificial intelligence is organic enough with its work to fool the common person into believing it is human. Overall, I feel that the artifact turned out about as well as I thought it would.
Viral Intervention: Final Artifact
After all the process of going out to film with the heart, driving around, wearing pajamas, our group came up with the artifact consisting of clothing we wore in filming process and then adding a heart. The clothing being gathered together could symbolize how humility can unite, be the cure, to the pride that could cause division. There is a sense of unity of the group symbolized in clothing. And the heart is to be a token, a symbol to showcase the deeper meaning in a quite simple way. The heart adds a curious element to the artifact. It can be like a historical artifact from a film, a page from a book. Here it is our pieces of clothing and heart from the film our group created. It’s also not very impressive, rather simple, which I enjoy. I enjoy simple things, they can really capture hidden messages. As it says in God’s Word, “Making wise the simple.”

Viral Interventions: Final Artifact
For this final artifact we wanted to set the table as we had it on the real stage outside. We added this larger poster and several soldiers around to create more impact with this image since it was the theme of our project. It was very interesting to see and share this in the class and I feel that the result was very successful. This project allowed us to see it in different ways, we could have the reaction and answers of unknown people and also show it in a closed place and create our own space which allowed us to explore and play with creativity.
Final Artifact
This is the final artifact we had from the assignment. It's the 2 posters we had printed out and placed aganist a board attached to a mop taped on top of a trolley so it would be easier to maneuver around. On it there are markings made by the people with markers we asked to answer which one they had thought was AI and the other was made by a human. I expected not everyone to get it right and it seems that was true but what i did not expect was to for both to get evenly marked showing me that the line between AI and human is blurrier than i thought.
Final Artifact ♤
Our piece follows the theme "admist the crisis, the states celebrate as the moon covers the sun." To reflect this idea, we constructed a diorama, similar to those of what you'd find in elementary school science fairs, to demonstrate this phenomenon. We used sheets of cardboard for the solar system, foam balls, and clay to construct the human figures and part of the planetal bodies. The goal was to garner and disrupt people's attention similar to what the event does, as it dims part of the sun's light. We came dressed to a Home Depot as researchers for the purpose of maintaining its scientific aura and also finding a unique crowd of people.
Viral Interventions: Final Artifact
Our final artifact is a piece of all of our clothes that we wore during the video. Kuanysh brought his onesie, Laura brought her pajamas and plush heart, Hector his shirt and something to hold his hair together, and I brought my sleep mask. We stacked them all from biggest to smallest with the heart centered on top. This is all on a simple chair that Hector also brought. We decided to place it next to the air conditioner because the door to it looks like a closet door and it fits the whole pajama theme we have going on.

“Optimize the emission of chaos to prevent the collapse of creativity” is a statement that pushes the agenda to allow more chaos into the world around us. Chaos as we know it is subjective and can be defined in many different ways. What we define as chaos in our movement is the ability to provide a safe space for people to create freely without restrictions and boarders. To allow an artist or any individual to see the full extent of their creativity and artistic abilities. Throughout our whole lives we are confined to rules, traditions, spaces and etc which limit us. By hanging everything and doodling on aprons it allows for people to fully be immersed into the creativity that surrounds the piece while simultaneously creating the safe space for them to create. It ties not only my partner and I to the art but It entices others to want to participate, which is clear from our classmates. I hope that this project can continue to be an inspiration for others as it was for me.
Materials used: 12ft paper roll, markers, bead wire, and aprons.

Viral Intervention: Final Artifact
Medium: Styrofoam balls, led lights, paper, acrylic paint, cardboard
For our final project, we created a 3d model of the Eclipse. Our sentence says “amidst the crisis, the states” view the eclipse, and so we wanted to represent that through the figures. We chose to use colored paper to show them on fire and missing multiple limbs. However we chose to shape them with their hands up as if they were “celebrating”, another key term in our sentence. We used led lights to demonstrate the eclipse and hand painted the styrofoam balls used. We also hand painted or splattered stars on the black cardboard surface in the background. Our main idea was to make it similar to a model you would see in a science project, except it has a different meaning and contains different elements that set it apart from a scientific model. Overall, the collaboration between 2d elements and 3d elements helped us to create a project that was both artistically pleasing and physically interactive.
Final Artifact
For the final artifact, it was created with the materials we all used to create the final artwork. I wanted to give the artifact the essence of our final work of art by using the original mixture of the sand. The sand around the sandbag was the original mixture of sand, baking soda, and food coloring. The gloves are filled with sand and placed around the colored sand, signifying our hands-on work with the project. The brooms standing over the work are crucial as we used them to clean away the artwork as if it had never existed. Our target audience was the park kids, who would help throw or lay the sand down.
