you sighed contently, burying your face against his chest, his warmth lulling your back into a peaceful slumber.

zoro and you had found each other again.

and that was all that mattered.

“…where the hell is zoro?”

it was late morning, and the crew was concerned.

it wasn’t like zoro to just vanish, maybe he got lost but that wasn't the case....

“maybe he just needed some time alone,” robin suggested calmly.

“no way.” sanji exhaled his cigarette, looking unusually serious. “that bastard was acting weird for days. what if he—”

chopper gasped. “YOU THINK HE JUMPED OVERBOARD?!”

usopp’s eyes widened. “wait, WAIT, what if he actually left?! like—like, abandoned ship because of the breakup?!”

luffy, sitting cross-legged, frowned. “that doesn’t sound like zoro…”

“are we even sure he was on board last night?” franky asked.

brook nodded. “i checked the crow’s nest—he wasn’t there.”

“we’ve searched everywhere,” jinbei said, crossing his arms. “where else could he be?”

“…y/n’s room?” chopper suggested hesitantly.

silence.

the entire crew froze.

“…”

“oh,” usopp muttered.

“…”

“no,” nami said flatly.

“that’s…” sanji’s brain malfunctioned.

you barely came out... you had locked yourself up for the better part of the day.

first, they tried.

but then no one dared disturb you.

and there was no way in hell you were with zoro—right?

“maybe we should check…” chopper gulped.

nami shuddered. “nope. not it.”

usopp took three steps back. “yeah, no thanks.”

"e-even i have my limits,” franky muttered.

jinbei just sighed.

and then—

“I’LL DO IT!” luffy declared.

“luffy, WAIT—”

TOO LATE.

before anyone could stop him, luffy happily marched up to your door—

and knocked.

silence.

then—

the door cracked open.

and inside—

you and zoro were still asleep.

naked.

under a blanket.

cuddled shamelessly.

your (your hair colour) hair was messy, your bare shoulder peeking out from the sheets.

zoro’s arm was still wrapped around you, holding you close.

the crew froze.

luffy’s mouth dropped.

nami just sighed.

usopp choked.

sanji collapsed.

chopper’s face exploded in red.

franky screamed internally.

brook literally died again.

jinbei blinked. “well.”

robin smiled knowingly.

and then—

zoro’s eyelid twitched.

sleepy, grumpy, still half-asleep—he opened one eye.

saw them.

and groaned.

“get. out.”

SLAM.

the crew stared at the door.

silence.

then—

“…well, damn,” franky muttered.

“…i knew it,” robin chuckled.

luffy just grinned.

and from inside the room—you groaned, burying your face into zoro’s chest.

“…i hate everything.” you grumbled, eyes still shut and sleep-dazed.

zoro just sighed.

“…yeah.”
