Just a second thought off my head (Part 2)

(I hadn't expected this passing thought to be so well-received. And since I'm not sure when I will write it and plus I'm a slow writer, I'll just do a quick synopsis of what my crazy imagination kept throwing at me.)

And Bruce got mad. How dare he! How dare the stupid alien insult him like this! Ruining his reputation that he had painstakingly built up. Proving to those around him that the treaties and peace agreement he had brokered was not because of his handsome looks nor his well-honed physique (a result of his passion for the martial arts).

And so Bruce punched Kal. He really did put all his strength into it, intending to break the alien's nose but he ended up breaking his own wrist instead.

"Rao! I'm so sorry! It's all my fault for not executing the greeting right!" Kal cradled Bruce's injured hand and on screens throughout the world, they looked like they were holding hands.

"So please do let me tend to your injury! And then I'll try and greet you properly again."

Before Bruce could say anything, he had been scooped up by the alien and flown back to the mothership hovering in the sky while the whole world watches.

Already twitter and tumblr and social media were going crazy with this new development. Some denounced it but most were starstruck fans who lauded the two as the best couple of the year. And countries with foresight were trying to pass laws and change laws to allow same-sex marriage. They see the potential for an economic boom should the two decided to get married and was looking for a place to host their wedding. So better plan ahead than regret later for the missed opportunity.

Imagine Kal arriving on Earth as a full-grown Kryptonian. His first introduction to Earth's culture was a commercial - a guy asking another guy, "Marry me?" And then kissing him.

Oh, so that's how they greet each other, thought Kal.

So when he met his first EarthIing, Bruce, ambassador sent by the UN to welcome him, Kal did as was shown in the commercial. And he did it during a 'live' broadcast to the entire world...

(Hmmm... I wonder what would happen next?)
